Tommie Robinson and the NFL
Posted by CP3forMVP on 11/11/18 at 11:39 am172
I don’t know how many of you listen to Whiskey and Wine after the games, but Culotta and Moscona were talking about the staff and both said they had heard that Tommie Robinson will probably jump to the NFL after this season. I’d welcome that, though I’m also a little worried that O will just hire a friend.
They actually had a pretty good conversation about the staff in general. Need for a QB coach, Jerry Sullivan retiring after this season, Meatball shouldn’t be one of the assistants, need to replace Mickey Joseph, etc etc.

Goodbye to all 4 lmao
Now go use all of the money we saved to go cheap on Orgeron and put together a bad arse staff. What a crazy fricking idea!

I do, as much as heat Moscona takes for his radio, this facebook show is a lot better. Especially the one last night, everyone should give it a listen.

I don't know who is who but is Robinson the guy who seemed to be getting a earful from O at the end of last night's game?
If not who was that
If not who was that
Thank god. Frustrating part of all of this is we knew these hires were average at best when they happened!
You need a championship STAFF and championship players to win in this conference.
We need heavy hitter recruiters and coaches at RB and DL.

When one of the 2 hosts calls the offense "fricking bullshite" while pouring a glass of whiskey in the first 5 minutes of the show, you know you are in for a different kind of post game analysis

That was McMahon, the special teams coach. The only explanation that seems to make sense is that O was going to either go for it on 4th or at least make Arky think he was going for it, and perhaps McMahon just ran the punt team out without waiting for the go ahead

If Robinson and Sullivan are gone, I think a first call should be Tony Hull at Kansas, either Receivers coach or RB coach he has experience at both. If this is what it will be, just bring in the best recruiters possible and hopefully we have overwhelming talent.
At the very least Hull will get every single New Orleans kid we want without batting an eye and fill the frank Wilson role. Jimbo is at our doorstep now he will be coming to encroach soon enough or atleast try.

It's a Facebook Live show, you can get to it by going to the ESPN 104.5 page

Last night was just another shite show. More staff turnover ends this disaster sooner probably so rats deserting the ship.

Hull could replace Robinson and also allow us to move Mickey into an admin role. (Or something)
Id love to get Adam Henry back as WR coach. He has that recruiting presence too.

I don’t think it would be a huge loss. JMO

Moscona recommended Michael Smith, Arkansas WR coach. He said Smith could legitimately coach the receivers and he can recruit, plus he’s from New Orleans. LSU hasn’t had a guy that can recruit and coach at the same time.
Here’s another good one that they both “reported” on. The Orgeron/Freeze thing is one sided. They both agreed that if Orgeron offered Freeze the OC position he would take it, but Orgeron would never hire him. Orgeron holds something that happened at Ole Miss against Freeze, but the sentiment isn’t returned.

Without a doubt, also I doubt Mickey Joseph being as young as he is will move on and get out of coaching everyday, I know he is basically just a recruiter at this point.
Also Ima add a guy that needed to be at LSU 15 years ago, 7 years ago, and last year. Karl Dunbar is currently the DL coach for Steelers. He has gotten rave reviews as he is without a doubt one of the best, but at 51 we need to bring him home and pay him whatever. Meatball is not cutting it if he is supposed to be a "recruiter" as well we have one commit on the DL.
Briles OC/QB
Hull RB
Henry WR
Ensminger TE
Dunbar DL
no more safety coach, Raymond can easily do the job he did for years, the friends and family discounts are testing everyones patience not saying Bucsh has done a bad job but go get a top flight WR coach like Henry.
Edit: Would love Michel Smith do not know where he is now not listed at Arkansas.

What you think they’ve been doing with Kevin Faulk?
Faulk has been in Emery’s eat all year anytime he’s on campus.
They’ve been grooming Faulk to take over.

Apparently Henry wanted to come back and Alleva didn’t like the price tag? you can’t make this shite up
