No they won't this happens each year and somebody make a thread about it.

Just because some people think LSU football is life doesn't mean the players do. I'm friends with members of the 08 NC team and they could give a good shite less.

LSU needs to start advising these dudes before their jr years about the financial benefits of becoming a first round pick.

When you get to the lte rounds, better to be an undrafted free agent - toliver will know where he is headed before the su sets - weathersby agent better be on the phones.
How a 6’3”, 200 lb, starting Tiger DB goes undrafted is beyond me. It’s why I am watching the draft at the pub & not a war room I guess ??

Tolliver always seemed to have attitude problems at LSU, in and out of the dog house. I think he was determined to leave college as soon as possible, regardless of what he was told about his draft stock.

It doesn’t matter what they think about school, it’s a business decision and these two just made an extremely shitty one. They both cost themselves their career because they were impatient.

I gusss more for Toby because he left due to the fact his family needed money because of Hurricane Harvey.

What does that have to do with the probability of him getting drafted?

Absolutely nothing. That’s not why I stated that. He left early because of that. All the mocks I saw had him 4-6 round and then he ends up going undrafted. That’s sucks when players who were PROJECTED to not even get drafted, get picked ahead of him. It just sucks. Lol

I don’t give a shite what projections they received. They were average college players at best. Average college players don’t get drafted.

We say this every year. Yet they keep leaving. This will keep happening as long as LSU keeps using NFLSU as its primary tool in recruiting. Kids might be likelier to stay if they knew there was a real chance they could win a championship.

You are exactly right. Alabama and Clemson are able to retain more of them because the players know there is a legitimate shot of playing for a title. We don't have that luxury right now wether people choose to believe it or not.

Bama had a guy (think he was a Sr) who never started a game in his career and had 28 career tackles, that was drafted in the 7th Rd. Makes me sick.

Alabama underclass men don't leave early unless they are going to be top picks. Lsu underclassmen leave early if they have a chance to get invited to minicamp

I don't feel sorry for Weathersby. He'll make a good living fighting MMA against fans he calls out on social media.
