Im not being negative but if the offensive line doesn't improve dramatically I just don't see how he stays healthy or even shows that he's nfl caliber with his particular skill set.

Looking at it objectively I see us taking a step back at least to start the season at offensive line. It will take the line time to recover losing Jones, Campbell, and Dellinger. They will need time to gel as a unit. Having an experienced center should help in Moore. The wisdom that defense usually starts faster than offense is often true.

DL at #3 this mf must be bad arse whoever he is

He is an interior defensive lineman too. A dominating defensive tackle is not easy to find at any level. To be rated that highly, it’s going to be a long day trying to run on him if he is as good as advertised.

Kelly will lose the game and LSU will finish 8-4.

LSU gets $$$. It’s all about money. They don’t give a frick about losing a non conference game because the school gets the money, it’s like starting the season with a bowl game that you don’t have to share with the other SEC teams.

Pussy. It makes even more sense to schedule these types of games now. Lord if were gonna win a title then we will win this game. who tf wants to watch LSU play SELU? I want them to play the best each week. You older folks talk about younger generations being weak then make statement like this.

I am expecting another L. But losing to a highly ranked Clemson is far better than losing to USC who finished 6-6.

A completely dumb statement.

“If Ohio state is gonna win a Championship then they will beat Oregon on the road”

“If Ohio state is going to win a title then they will beat Michigan”

“If LSU is going to win a title then they will beat Florida with zook”

There is zero incentive to play a playoff game in week 1 in the 12 team playoff era

There is no way Clemson will have 6 players drafted in the first round. These “way too early” mock drafts always have an obscene number of players from one school drafted in the first round. Hardly ever happens.

LSU fans: We have a top 5 incoming class and the #1 transfer portal class, BK is killing it! We have national title aspirations.

Also LSU fans: we should open against Liberty

Smart fans-these portal guys will need a couple games to gel as there is no incentive in the SEC with a 12 team playoff to start big. Let’s let them gel and then it can be something special

Idiot fans-“leeeerroooy jenkins”

Clemson finished 85th in run defense last year. LSU finished 51. I think we'll be okay.

I’m fine with the houston one as I hate neutral site games. Keep the home and home with ASU, let the fans have at least a little bit of fun

Well we're entirely in control of it. Except for the first loss against Moo St. we're putting ourselves behind the 8 ball by playing real teams. It's dumb if we continue to do this in the 12 team playoff era.

It's dumb until it's not - and when they change the formula again like probably next year or the next and place emphasis on schedule strength then it will be a plus.

The people saying this has zero positive impact are 100% wrong

If we are on the cusp of being in the playoffs, and LSU is, say 9-3 or whatever, they’re going to instantly look at who each team won and lost to. If they beat Clemson it will definitely give them a boost in the committee’s eyes

How convenient your example.

People only see the negatives of these games. Think of how awesome it will be to go to their house and win the game. And think of how awesome Tiger Stadium will be in 2 years when Clemson comes to us. The atmosphere will be incredible
