Todd Mcshay's way-too-early mock draft projected 6 Clemson players to the first round

Peter Woods – IDL – Pick 3 (Giants)
Cade Clubnik-QB- Pick 6(Browns)
T.J. Parker – EDGE – Pick 9 (Browns via Jaguars)
Blake Miller – OT – Pick 8 (Colts)
Avieon Terrell – CB – Pick 27 (Titans via Rams)
Antonio Williams – WR – Pick 28 (Chiefs)
Safe to say we're going to have our hands full in week 1. On paper, this Clemson team looks like they have even more talent than the 23 Florida State team. Probably the most pressure Bk has faced to win a week 1 matchup and it's arguably against the toughest week 1 opponent we faced in the BK era. A top 10 opponent, on the road, most likely a night game.

Doesn't matter. It is a must win for Brian Kelly.

For sure. It's absolutely a must win game you cannot continue to lose these big brand matchups to open the season. We gotta get this monkey off our back and start a season 1-0. SEC is too good to keep starting seasons in a 0-1 hole

Our AD is obsessed with scheduling stand alone big week 1 matchups for LSU brand exposure. Won't change anytime soon as next year we once again will open up against clemson

Well we're entirely in control of it. Except for the first loss against Moo St. we're putting ourselves behind the 8 ball by playing real teams. It's dumb if we continue to do this in the 12 team playoff era.

There is ZERO UPSIDE to this game in this era. None. Zero. Zilch.
It does not help you. The only thing that helps you is winning games.
If LSU Schedules a bunch of chumps, if they win enough games they are in. The out of Conference schedule is irrelevant

Honestly idc if that's have 19 projected first rounders.
Kelly has to show up week 1. He's found a way to lose too many openers. We need that 100 million to make sense and he needs to win that game
