Today's Scrimmage stats and more

Etling 13-22 168yds, 3TD 1INT
Brennan 10-20 122, 1TD 1INT
Narcisse 0-2 1 Rushing TD
RB:
Guice 7-48
Williams 17-60
CEH 13-50
Brossette 12-47
WR:
McMath: 2 rec
No other stats
Also named chark, Gage, and Dillion the starters
Defense:
D White: 8 tackles
X Lewis: 8 tackles
G Herron: 1 sack 7 tackles
Notes:
Etling and Chark hooked up for a 57 yard TD
Chaission "had a big day"
Shelvin will be a partial qualifier, so he will redshirt this year
O will soon name a QB starter, Lowell and Brennan will both play some this year
Pass protection was once again an issue today
"I have never seen freshman line backs like this since my days in Miami"
Phillips and Taylor are "neck and neck" to back up Alexander
Culp made a 53 yarder today, but no starter has been named

You should qualify this with "QB stats." Your information relative to your title leaves a lot to be desired.

Listening to O and seeing these number of carries, it looks like Brossette has made a recent move and will actually contribute some this year.

As someone who is now a Memphian, I really hope Herron continues to stay out of trouble and contributes big this year.

Evaluation time is more or less over. They are trying to get the guys prepared who they think are gonna play. Other guys will have to make the most of their practice reps and work together outside of practice.
ETA--maybe Narcisse's role this year will be a spread option package. Maybe goal line. He may have played more than his 2 pass attempts indicate.

Yikes. Either our front 7 is going to kill it this season or the OL is really struggling. Hopefully it's more of the former.

X.Lewis will start at nickle against run heavy teams and K.Vincent will start against pass happy teams. I think we will have a top 5 defense this year fellas. September 2 can't get here fast enough.
