Woke up this morning and asked my 15 year-old son if he wanted to go watch Paul pitch in Cleveland he said yes of course. We jump in the truck run the 45 minutes up to Progressive field buy tickets and watch Paul dominate. Skenes may not be putting up quite as gaudy numbers as he has in year one and two, but he is still a damn dominant pitcher .

A lot of beautiful country around Cleveland. My Godfather lived in Chagrin Falls when he left ShakerHeights.

Skenes is phenomenal. I just wish he had offensive support.

Kudos to you for making memories. That is what life is about.

I've lived in Cleveland for the past 26 years, and I love it here. Great culture, good food, a wonderful park system, and all three major league sports. Yeah, it gets cold in the winter, but I can always put on more clothes. Quite honestly, winters up here are more bearable than summers down home.

I've been waiting two years to see him pitch and was going to wear my 2023 championship shirt, but we had a bit of a family health emergency this morning and I couldn't get away. He'll be back, and I might drive down to Pittsburgh to see him one of these days. PNC Park is one of the best in the country, although Progressive Field ain't bad at all. I try to make it to 3-4 Guardians games each season.

Believe it or not in 18 years, people can move not only city to city but state to state since I joined the site I’ve been in multiple states.

You left out Lake Erie, the walleye fishing on Erie alone makes living up here bearable.

I have to be up here because of the ex-wife and children that moved up in the area for three more years then who knows what part of Cleveland are you in?

Actually, Pittsburg has one of the better offenses in MLB this season and are currently 4 games above .500 with a young and talented up and coming roster.

That narrative of his first couple of years in Pittsburg is no longer applicable.

I’ll take walleye over small mouth every day of the week. They don’t fight as much but when they land on my plate, they’re way better.

You say Erie is one of the best small mouth lakes, well it is the best walleye lake.
