Little Scott was 9 and remember it vividly. Jumped so quick out the sofa my leg caught in a cushion and dam near shattered my knee on the floor. Tearing up watching the highlight more now than over my knee then. Anybody got fond memories to share?

Also, I was thinking another reason it was so special is that I don’t think there’s another fan base that would pray as hard for that to happen as 90’s LSU baseball fans

First CWS without my Dad watching with me.
My Mom coincidentally started cutting onions in the bottom of the 9th.

I was watching on TV and also leapt off the couch. Fortunately I didn't injure myself on the landing.

To expound, I think we were both just both kinda just blankly sitting there obviously knowing it was a long shot for a comeback so when it happened man, we blew the Top off of the house jumping, dancing, laughing all this while cheering Geaux Tigers.
Fun times and definitely Top 5-10 moment with my Dad.

I only went to one CWS-guess which one it was?
Yes, I was fortune enough to go to 1996.
I sat 10 rows above the LSU dugout for the championship game. Absolute pandemonium is putting it mildly. I wound up 2 rows behind where I was sitting and I don't know how I got there! After I got home, my daughter noticed bruises on the back of my legs. I guess it was from the armrests on the seats. Lasting memories and a thrill of a lifetime.

I worked with a guy that was a Miami fan and he was shite talking me non-stop before the game. All through the game as we were losing, I was dreading going into work the next day because I knew he was going to give me both barrels. Then when Morris' ball went over the fence I started laughing like a madman. The next morning, I left a copy of the sports page on his desk.

My dad was in a MS hospital recovering from open-heart surgery. He was watching the ballgame and I was watching from here in BR. Within seconds after the game ended I called my dad. He said, “I heard you screaming all the way from BR!” Funny how so many of us remember sharing this day with our dads. He loved LSU baseball because I loved LSU baseball. He proudly wore his LSU baseball cap autographed by Warren Morris! He died in 1999. A CWS doesn’t pass that I don’t remember that homerun and talking to my dad.

My fist almost went through the roof of my car and we almost went flying off of I-10 at 80mph when the call came through the radio. Was driving back from a baseball tournament in Mobile. Had to pull over with some of the others in our caravan and celebrate/calm down. It was a great day to be a Tiger fan!!

Same. And for me, this applies to every great LSU sports moment from my first memory until I lost my Dad several years ago.

That is what makes sports so special.
