And somehow the MLB found a way to not broadcast the game.

He's pitching today at 12:00 against the Orioles and the 2022 first overall pick in Jackson Holiday. So the last two #1 overall picks face each other today and it's not televised. MLB dropped the ball!

They call it spring training in baseball.

Not every spring training game is televised and the broadcast schedule is set weeks in advance. Nobody knew when Skenes would be pitching.

Maybe you should settle for a midget so you can best replicate the full Paul Skenes experience.

The MLB has never done a good job at Marketing their superstars like other professional sports.

This is 100% a missed opportunity to garner some attention and viewership. And I would expect nothing less from the MLB.

I’m afraid to try pronouncing his name around my black friends. That last part can come out wrong pretty quickly.

LAD & Ohtani are on broadcast tonight. Problem is their minor league & farm system. They’re not gonna make a big deal about a #1 pick when they might not even play in MLB for awhile. I think you’re incorrectly using the term “superstar”

Like many of you, I'll be following his professional baseball career with keen interest. What a ball player he was for our Tigers. The best thing he brought besides his talent was his leadership (along with Crews) - remarkable for a first year portal transfer.

Will be interesting to see which player(s) step up and assume the leadership roles this season.

Geaux Tigers!

Does he go to AAA or will he be sent to AA? I doubt he makes the big club his first year.

Probably depends on his showing in Spring Training. I think he will get called up at some point this year

They’ll only face each other maybe 2-3 times for a grand total of 5-10 minutes at most

He’ll most likely start in AA and never see AAA if he’s solid there. Call up by mid season would be my expectation
