Wow Mansoor, that time is gonna move him up for sure into the top 10 without question. His speed I felt was the only real question mark he had.

He has very short limbs so this was needed to get him up into that area.

They’ve now walked it back to a 4.4 flat…

With Aaron Anderson running a 4.55 and only jumping a really low 28.5" - I have to imagine this dudes injury from a few years back is still haunting him quite a bit.
This was not a very low vertical jump mid 4.5 guy out of high school.
I mean West Weeks had a better 40, vertical and 20 yard shuttle time over Aaron.

West Weeks with a good showing. Enough for late round pick? 4.5 at 230 pounds is not nothin.
Height/Weight: 6-1, 230
40-yard dash: 4.50 seconds
Vertical: 31.5 inches

Les didn’t you think Hilton was going to run a 4.3 at LSU’s pro day? Kinda wild how many guys didn’t run if they believe they could easily improve their time.

Hilton is weird;
Kelly famously told him he's uncoachable. He was talking about the jumps, but I think Kelly was sort of right... Hilton was the fastest guy on the field, when you watched. Even if he was 'only' 4.41 speed, then every corner lined up on him was 4.8 or slower. Because he just smoked guys, and everyone knew he was going deep.
I think he's low 4.3, maybe even 4.2's, but doesn't know how to run a 40 for time.
As I said, Kelly couldn't coach him up. But I bet someone like Sean Payton might try; stick him on the practice squad a few years and see if they can unlock him. Maybe bring Devery Henderson in as a personal coach, as I think Hilton's potential ceiling is a Henderson-type threat.

I would have bet money that he’d improve, the track is notoriously fast. As shown by Delane, Weeks & Perkins’ time
