So 2-3 years is a decline??

We were ranked #2 three weeks ago?

We lose three games and we want to fire the guy who is in the middle of the best recruiting class in years??

Haha.

Why do people care what ESPN thinks or says?

ESPN doesn't hate LSU.

It has always been an inferiority complex by the ones who said it.

Along with Verne and Gary, SEC refs. It's all a huge conspiracy theory.....that never existed in the first place.

What have you seen this year from the coaching staff that makes you think it will be that much better/different next year?

For me it's all about the players getting better at this point. We just weren't as good/experienced as we all thought...

LF is gone after next year, so why not have Les see if he can take care of business one last year

The fact you want to give Les the chance to waste LF's last year makes me feel like your opinions shouldn't be given any credence whatsoever.

When you fire your coach, that rarely ever means your program is immediately going to be successful and have fantastic seasons in the following couple years.

Oh really? Florida says hi. So does Ohio St. So Michigan. Florida has less talent than we do on roster and turned it around immediately. Ohio St has no competition and doesnt have much to compete against for recruits, but Urban literally walked in the door and has only lost, what 3 games in 4 seasons? Im not sure. What about Michigan this year? They have been horrible for how long now and all of a sudden the right coaching hire and they are thrust right back into the mix. You give a competent coach the talent and recruit area that we have and will roll out of bed with a top 10 team easily. LSU should not be losing to Arkansas. We should at least compete with Bama and we should at least beat Ole Miss more times than not. Whether anyone likes Miles or not is irrelevant, he simply doesnt have the response from the players anymore. In a wk in which it had been reported and talked about constantly, they played with no passion and didnt play with any sense of urgency. He has lost the locker room.

Right, and who is responsible for getting the players ready?

we may have to fill more than a few holes next year, with the same exact system, of Miles stays. Remember how people are saying we were young this year? We'll be young again next year as well.

How quickly you forget the pace he was on the first 7 games. Not to mention we had three freshman on the o-line last night.

If Nick Saban hadnt won a national title in 8 years, had a his arse handed to him 3 times in a row, mismanaged an unbearble amount of qbs, continually made twrrible hire after another and was 8-7 over 2 seasons at Bama he would be gone quickly and no one would ever question the decision.

Florida - clearly isn't that good. They don't play in the west, and hey! WE beat them. So, there's that.

Ohio state - doesn't play ANYBODY

Michigan - they scored a homerun with harbaugh. Like I said, it can happen, but that is not the norm people

So, no comment about the 3 freshman on the o-line? Got it.

I don't give a frick if we beat Mississippi State, Syracuse, Western Kentucky and a very overrated UF squad. We have the talent to smoke Arkansas and Ole Miss and we got our assess handed to us. If Miles kept the team together and won those games we would be #4 or 5 right now.

my comment is that his inability to keep players around all 4 years is a major issue

I think we have to resign Cam for one more year unfortunately. Honestly, it's pretty evident that we are running Les' offense anyway, so what difference does it make?

You sound like the guy who holds a stock all the way to bankruptcy because you have the faith that the leaders can turn it around if they just get a little more time...

I have been singing that song too until the last few weeks. Also I think you will find that the people who pay CLM and CLM have come to a point of no return on this.

Yeah lack of depth in the trenches isn't a reflection of the head coaches recruiting at all.

Do yourself a favor and research Cam robinsons recruitment and pay special attention to Cam Sims and Cam Gamble.

Gotta break some eggs to make an omelet. Since when does ESPN dictate policy at LSU? Geeez...
