You could have saved all the research and used your eyes and ears, fella. It's not hard to figure out why people don't like BK. It's not something that's exclusive to LSU fans. He's not a likable person and his football record isn't good enough to make up for it.

Kelly has been a major disappointment let’s face it. I thought for sure when he was hired LSU would at least be in the conversation by year 3 but we have regressed and by the looks of it year 4 may be worse. You can sugar coat it all you want but we are headed in the wrong direction at the worst possible time with this portal and NIL playing a major factor now. There is absolutely no buzz around this program and frankly I am getting tired of the same old coach speak. Almost everything he has said the opposite seems to happen. He has been bad in game and worse in roster management, talent evaluation, and player development. Average is not good enough at LSU.

The last 3 head coaches at LSU have won National Championships, that is the standard

The issue most have isn’t his overall record, it’s that he is trending down each year. His team looked better prepared to play in year one than year three. That’s not the right direction to go in. Maybe he’ll spend a little more hands on time with the offense next year like he did these last two games and we’ll see better results.
People had higher expectations for a coach with his experience but after watching this 2024 team there isn’t a lot to be excited about. He looks like a coach that pushed the clutch in and coasted this year. I’m hoping he’s pissed off and puts a better product on the field next year.
