Dude absolutely reps LSU harder than anyone.

He's done his fair share of recruiting on LSUs behalf already he communicates on X constantly. He called out Underwood to come to LSU.

Hes an LSU legend and seems to have a genuine want to coach here in some capacity one day.

I’d love for him to be at LSU in some official capacity.

Hesitant of him being a coach for us when he has no real experience there.

But him being an ambassador or analyst for us would be sweet as hell.

He has money. Hire him as an analyst working for Raymond to see how he picks it up. If he really wants to get into coaching, that is.

We need to get him in the building now in so form to offset the La coaching mafia.
Believe me it's a thing with lots of money moving thru hands and handlers.

Didn't Raymond coach him or was it the Goat Ron Cooper? You would think he'd let him get on the field in practice and help coach.

He needs to get on a staff somewhere. He needs to start building a resume. I am one who can seeing him being headcoach one day, but there’s no chance In hell of that happening if all he does is “rep” LSU. That’s great, don’t get me wrong, but he’ll never get the head job here without a coaching resume.

If he truly wants to coach at lsu, his path imo should be to jump on New Orleans high school sideline. Maybe his alma mater St Aug or the likes and make the New Orleans connections. Could easily be the next Frank.

Great that he talks about it, but without him getting on staff somewhere and starting to actually coach, not sure how thats gonna happen

He doesn’t need the money so he could start in a learning position similar to that of a “graduate assistant“.

I don’t think he wants to coach anywhere but LSU. Doesn’t sound like he’s looking for a second career or more money. Feels like he just wants to give back to LSU

Yea I always laugh when someone says former player x should be made the coach of the position he excelled at with 0 prior coaching experience. Two completely different skill sets.

Remember when he first got into the NFL and donated a million dollars to the university so LSU could improve the facilities?
Bro bleeds Purple and Gold.
Maybe not coaching, but I'd want him around the program in some capacity like a recruiting analyst or brand ambassador, or something similar.

“ Tyrann Mathieu, a safety in the NFL, has earned approximately $75 million over his career.”

You guys are crazy. This guy lives high on the hog just off the interest of his earnings. Ambassador yes. Steward yes. Employee: I’ll believe it when I see it.

his place on the LSU staff is going to happen and the sooner LK realizes his worth and finds him a place, the better for the LSU program.

The best players don't necessarily make the best coaches. Not sure why so many here seem to assume that he will be some amazing coach. He could be, but odds are that will not be the case. At the very least, he'd be great at recruiting.

Any idea if he’d be a good coach?

Dude had insane instincts but can he coach another?
