I hate to see him go, but like the way it was handled. I've already used this situation to talk to my two boys ages 10 and 13. They obviously liked the "honey badger" so I used the situation to point out the problems drug cause an how he let let his teammates down.
Hope they learn from others mistakes......

TM7 was everything you want in an athlete......minus the pot. He worked his butt off. I've seen him in the football complex when no other players were there working on ridiculous ball drills...which he made in games.
I've seen him stop everything to take a picture with a kid or sign multiple autographs.
Is he a dumbass......yes. I really try to just be a good fan and keep out personally b/c i have no say in the team, but this one hurts.

That is the shitty part because by all accounts he is a good kid. Flawed, sure, but a really decent guy. But he apparently thought he was too big to abide by the rules, and had multiple chances to turn it around.
Yeah it is just weed but the same rules are in place in the NFL, better he learns it now than later so hopefully it resonates, because no one is gonna give a shite about how well he plays at McNeese or wherever. Just really sucks for us as LSU fans, sucks for his teammates who he let down, and suck for TM7 too although I don't have a lot of sympathy for him right now.

Its not the pot, its the fact he broke rules that he said he understood. I find it hard to believe they dont know that a drug test is coming, maybe not the exact day, but they know. So why risk it? He had plenty of time to smoke and get it out his system over the last 8 months. He blatantly disobeyed the rules and really shows he doesnt give a shite. Im not mad cus i let people go at work on the 3rd write up. If he couldnt go a few months not doing drugs, he has a problem.
