Tired of the “Ensminger doesn’t have what it takes” narrative

O and ensminger had the vision for change and found the talent to implement it. Good leaders DRIVE change , they don’t operate the equipment. The notion that Steve was merely a puppet is absurd.

He is evidence that teams (and people) can change. If you can’t see that, then you’re either too young to have ever experienced it, or so locked into your own views that you may never grasp the concept of change. God help you people

LSU and E will prove all you naysayers wrong again!

Well, did he before this year? Cut through the euphoria and be honest, now.

We all love Slinger. But when he was full Oc he scored 0 TD’s against Bama. Twice.

My hope is that he’s mastered the new offense and doesn’t need Brady’s input.

I would like to think E learned from Brady and can now do exactly what Brady was doing. I doubt it though.

I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. If all of a sudden the play calling starts looking like pre-Brady then I’ll pass judgement.

How long has E had the keys to the offense?

He called the plays all year. I won't be surprised if we hire someone else to help Steve but we'll be fine.

Slinger doesn’t really have a playbook is the thing. he’s just a good playcaller. now that we have a good playbook, I think he’ll be fine without Brady if I’m being honest. I don’t see us reverting back to what we were doing before Brady got here, so what do people think is going to change offensively?

Go watch the A&M game and the Fiesta Bowl from last year.

We opened it up later in the year once the Oline could give Burrow time.

Sure, we had different concepts installed, but the philosophy was open.

Ensminger's offensive renaissance was all Brady. Let's not kid ourselves, Steve's offensive scheme was the Miles offensive scheme.

If they sign another excellent offensive mind then we should be in good position to do great things. What's wrong with continuing that exact model?

Ensminger found Brady. He gets 100% credit for that. Hopefully he can find someone else. Some have a greater talent for finding great coaches than actually coaching.

E is a legend and didn’t get nearly enough credit for this run (including the 2018 season).

I think he and Brady both benefited each other this year but I personally would rather have E if we were only going to have one back.

I don’t blame him, but Brady got out while the getting was good. E is the guy that stays when the work gets harder

Why does everyone think that E will not find replacement staff for the analytics and insights to fuel the play calling? When you find success you repeat the recipe. Why do you think he would conclude he “knows it all” and will take over the whole ship. There’s no evidence he operates like that.

I would definitely give E the year to show he can keep this style of offense going. There is no reason to bring in a whole new offense

It’s a new system this year. A system he now understands. A system he called plays for all season when we went 15-0. Show me one time on film where Brady called plays before we got up big.
