I'm skeptical of the Advocate article. THey just talked to Crowton. Like he would know he's about to be fired.

I'm still holding out. I have faith.

You know, until this NFL stuff shakes out, not going to totally discount it yet. Lets give this a couple of days.

With Crowton, we will lose 5 or more games next year. Book it. Crowton = or < Tepper.

Well, dmitch brother of RR, said that the family got an interesting phone call and I think he said that he was pretty sure other families of players did too.

?????

Help a tired LSU fan out and tell me exactly what this implies? Did he get some kind of phonecall from a new OC?

Did you expect Miles to confirm it? Why would he. Hell the TAF probably didn't let him in on it!

THere is still smoke here peeps, no way all this is made up! Maybe the are waiting for the school hiring GC to get there house in order also.

Fletcher just said he was told by the same sources that said Crowton was out that Crowton was back next year.

this is bad news for Les Miles, more than anyone... another 4 or 5 loss season, which is very possible, and people aren't going to look at the DC or OC anymore... they are going to put his neck on the chopping block, and LSU won't have any choice but to go in another direction...

as it stands now, realistically, we are a close second to Bama in the SEC west.... another poor season, we lose more recruits to them, and we slip further behind... LSU fans/alumni will NOT allow this to happen... money will be lost, and LSU does not want that to happen, so they will have to make a change....

this season is absolutely make or break for Miles at LSU, and he pretty much is sealing his fate by keeping Crowton rather than letting him go and buying himself one more season after 2010...

It's 1999 all over again. Maybe we get another Saban to come in 2011.

I agree 100%...

I support Miles, but it's obvious he isn't top Teir coach... I don't know, I have mixed feeling about him.

He needs an OC real Bad...Crowton has made things real bad...he has been here 3 years!

3 years Sabans wins a MNC, 3 years Crowton takes us from MNC title to 112th!

Bad Bad deal folks
