3 years Sabans wins a MNC, 3 years Crowton takes us from MNC title to 112th!
With Alleva not pushing Miles to rid us of Crowton, I want Alleva to go out the door if next year is the disaster I expect it will be.

I just uploaded it from my iphone. Once published usually takes a few minutes to be viewable. Link is good in a few.

here's the script from our 10:00 (after BCS Championship Game) newscast...
on my radio/tv show thursday morning, i reported that a source that i trust had told me Gary Crowton would be dismissed as the offensive coordinator at LSU on Friday... i also said LSU officials would only tell me that it was just a rumor... I said i would continue to look into the tip hoping to either verify or nullify the information...
##
TODAY, THE SAME LSU OFFICIAL THAT I COMMUNICATED WITH ON WEDNESDAY ANSWERED MY CALL AS HE WAS EXITING LES MILES OFFICE---HE SAID, QUOTING: "IT'S WEIRD YOU'RE CALLING RIGHT NOW---LES AND I WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS--AND HE SAID THAT GARY IS STILL ON HIS STAFF AND WILL BE ON HIS STAFF."
##
CAN'T GET MORE FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH THAN THAT---ALTHOUGH, RANDY ROSETTA OF THE BATON ROUGE MORNING ADVOCATE SPOKE TO GARY TODAY... IN DALLAS RECRUITING, CROWTON TOLD ROSETTA THAT HE INDEED WILL BE BACK AS THE O-C NEXT SEASON...

...Then I predict a 6-6 season.

Fletcher, meet me at Joe's on Centenary in 10 minutes. I'll buy you a roach-filled omelet and cup of Sanka and we can discuss a rumor about all the gay news men in the Shreveport and Monroe metro areas.

well, if he does stay, i just hope tonight was a wake up call to Crowton and more so to Miles...
hopefully they saw what we saw... you play your best players regardless of their classification (sr, yr, soph, fr), you play more physical than the guy in front of you in the trenches, and play attacking defense, not bend don't break...
as stubborn and idiotic as miles is, i doubt he'll get it, and that's what has me depressed... i don't care that Bama won it, doesn't matter, it's that our coaching will not allow us to progress and compete like we have become accustomed to seeing at LSU

I say 6-6 or 7-5. Following that, Miles along with Alleva must be shown the door.

It all starts at the top. Alleva is problem one. He's nowhere close to being what LSU needs in an AD. Hell, i'd ALMOST rather have Joe Dean back.

Yep. Having the "want" doesn't win the SEC or NC's. I'm so sick of this bullshite.

Fletch is a good guy. I live in the Shreveport area and have watched/listened to him for years and even know people that know him personally and he is not the type to pull douchebaggery.
He had a source that was highly placed that he trusted and the source is the doucebag, not Fletch.

Oh, I'm not mad at Fletch. There's some bullshite going on in the Athletic Department that kept him, whether it be Alleva being Joe Dean like and so tight that he doesn't even want to fire Alleva or Miles talking him out of it. I don't know, but it is not going to go well for either of them if next year is a repeat of the last two.
Alleva is so damned tight and doesn't have an understanding of LSU football and its traditions that he originally didn't plan on having a pep band at Washington.

here's what i think... i think behind closed doors, the "alliance" (miles, crowton, and alleva) all have it in their minds that they are going to go down with the ship and thus have each other's backs...
seems none of the 3 really want to piss the other off, so instead of doing what best for LSU, they are doing what's best for those 3...
this will prove to be a horrible idea for them though, because when they fail, instead of just one or two of them getting canned, all of them will be out on their arse...
