Yea the 1 Offense ran that play a number of times and the entire front 7 bit. And Mett was left out in space and just slinging it downfield.

I can't wait to see how badass this offense will look on the mega screen in Dallas.

The fact that this simple play is new to our playbook tells us exactly how clueless the OC has been the past few years. With our running game, this should have been a staple in our playcalling. Downright stupid not to do this regularly.

I got hit in head hard when I played ball back in the day! Dr said I'd have severe problems with long term memory loss! To wit after seeing awesomeness my brain automatically purges previous failures!!! In short, I can't process the aforementioned statement

I try not to get too worked up with offseason things like this.

But you bastards keep pulling me back in every year.

Agreed...offense looked sharp tho...can't wait for spring game...I think it will be a good indicator of what we can expect next season

We have a little more to be worked up about this season. We actually have a proven guy trying to fix our offensive problems that really kept us from winning at least 2 national championships. The fact that you can already see improvement in the offense in the first week of practices and scrimmages shows you just how bad it was. All they needed was a little direction and I for one am pumped about it.

The problem is , no one is talking about the defense.

Disagree. Its practice, no rushing the qb and they will go situational by the end of it.

Actually, I was speaking about these practices being a good indicator of the type of offense that the staff will run next year...I wasn't speak about player performance

That's because our defense hasn't been a concern. We've had a national championship caliber defense since 2010 and a shite sandwich for an offense since 2009.

First team D-Fense look solid against the first "O"...I think there is a question that needs to be answered at MLB...the majority of the first "O"'s completions came on screens and underneath routes...the receivers were quickly tackled after the catch...

I think that this defense is in a good place for now

Look forward to this new offense!!

FYI, posts like this are the reason Bob Stoops banned bloggers from his practices. I'm sure coach would rather the other teams learn about our new schemes live on the field.

Thank goodness This isnt OKLA and Good thing that Im not a blogger; in any event, do you honestly think that the screen to the back out of the backfield; the double move by the receiver or the corner route that bama runs is a secret...get real dude on this level it comes down to whether or not you can stop that ball from moving...
