How's the new guy?
Will we get up to 325 this year?
Is that ridiculous dying donkey of noise going to be played?
Neck on the way back?

Honestly, I was at the game and couldn't hear our little pep band. But I was so far up that the United Airlines jets going in and out of Houston were below me.

All that smoke from the fireworks ruins every damn pic of pregame. Wish they’d either get rid of them or just shoot the ones from the top of the scoreboards.

The new guy isn’t new to LSU, he has been on the staff for a few years now. Dr Illinas is now the director of bands at Oregon. I think the band has camp next month and they will know some numbers then.

While here, he was the director of Tiger Band. At Oregon, he's director of bands. So, a promotion. That, and he could have been looking to jump ship to avoid the scrutiny when it hits the fan regarding the SOM allegedly taking the AD's money and using it on other things besides Tiger Band.
