If this is true, then there's no possible way that I can fathom, that this day would get any better.

I am beside myself.

ETA:

After a few minutes of careful pondering whilst ingesting my daily midday sustenance, I have thought of something that would make it better.

Tit for tat...

Woodward --> LSU

Alleva --> aTm

Will Wade made the BOS a strong-arse offer.

So I am out of the loop. What specifically would make this guy such a great hire?

Comes from the Emmert school of thinking when it comes to Athletics role in a university. Clearly willing to do what it takes to win. Seemingly a leader and closer, something Joe was not. He will not kowtow to King.

Wait! LSU had Woodward lined up before firing Alleva? That does not sound like a normal FKing move. I wonder who's calling the shots?

Good questions. Maybe, just MAYBE F'king has been micro managing alleva because he sees his incompetence and wants someone in place that can actually run a multi million dollar athletic department the size of LSU's and him (F'king) not have to babysit the AD.

ETA: I don't really think that of F'king but it's worth at least mentioning. Either way I'd love to see F'king replaced as well!

This is why I don't believe it. Hell, knowing how it usually goes I'm still not 100% that Alleva is leaving

ETA: poster says it's premium content from TexAgs. Could be true or not, but several of the Aggy posters changed their tune from an it's not happening to damn it's happening.

This was reported on 247 that Luicci said it so he definitely said it

LSU is on a winning streak now, men. Someone resurrect the Rummy "LSULSULSU" thread.

And he has been very successful at every stop (LSU, Washington, and A&M).

The fact that it’s going down this way tells you Alleva hasn’t touched this at all

Even better, Joe ends up as Alabama AD and suspends Nick Saban based on a Yahoo report about Chargers. Hey, a guy can dream, can't he.
