Planning on grabbing a pair of tickets soon for the road A&M game and wondering if anyone could offer some advice. There are tickets available through lsu ticket office for 110 a piece but they don't specify where the seats are(they just say reserved). I could get a decent pair of uppers on stubhub or vivid seats for around 175ish with fees. Does anyone have a clue where the seats might be located if I purchase through lsu ? I'll gladly pay the extra 50ish bucks for lower bowl seats but if the lsu tix office puts me in uppers as well I'd rather save a few bucks. Any info would be appreciated.

I can assure you that if you buy visitor tickets to any SEC game, you will pay $100+ for them and will get the shittiest seats in the stadium every single time. That is what we do to visitors as well. The only visitor seats that are halfway decent are given to the high TAF contributors, and even then, they will likely be in the corner of an endzone.

If you want better seats, the only way to do it is to buy some off stubhub or something like that and then you will be sitting outside of the LSU section and surrounded by opposing fans, which can be damn hard to deal with.

I take my chances in the LSU section when I attend away games.

Corner of the end zone isn't bad, that's where we have sat away fans since I can remember and I usually snag north end zone tickets for home games.

Yeah I kinda like the shite talking if I get away from the lsu section but am good either way. I just didn't wanna pay 220 for the same crap seats I could get for 170 . I've sat away from the lsu section in neyland stadium last year and at Arkansas the year before that. Kinda fun to trash talk a little bit . (When your team is winning especially)

Mainly I'm just curious if anyone knows where the visitors get seated at Kyle field. For visiting teams coming to death valley it's always the same corner.

It's the same as every other sec venue. 5 percent of capacity is at field level. Past that u can put visitors where u want.

In college station the field levels are at the southeast goal line.
The rest are in the very tip top of the north end zone.

I'm 99.99% sure that the tickets you see through LSU are upper level. Any lower level tickets to be had through LSU went to season ticket holders that have given lots of $$ to TAF through the tradition fund with season tickets for a long time or just straight up donations.

Disagree

I have never gotten bad seats through LSUTix. Always lower bowl. Hell for UF, I had 40 yard line row 2. Sat next to Orlando Gunn, wore his ring, it was a good time.

The only visitor seating in the lower bowl is in 130 and 131 (the southeast corner). This will comprise about 1500 seats, the minimum required under SEC rules. The rest are scattered pretty much in the four corners of the stadium--in the northeast corner, the top 12 or so rows of sections 418-421; in the northwest corner, the top 12 or so rows of sections 409-412; in the southwest corner, the top 10 or so rows of sections 350 and 349.

If you buy through LSU, you'll likely be in one of the high endzone sections. If you want yardline seats, or something not in the stratosphere, you will have to buy elsewhere.

Texas is terrible and Texas A&M was just as bad when their stadium was set up the same way. They have a horse shoe that extends way past the endzone and the separated bleachers that are in that endzone are basically in front of the seats that extend down the horse shoe. I'm sure that 2012 game was brutal for LSU fans to try and watch from that far away. 2014 wasn't bad. I was in the back of the endzone in the LSU section and got to watch Leonard Fournette absolutely plaster that poor DB front and center.

Just wait until a week or two prior to the game and look for tix on here or TexAgs, or just get them at the game. I've gone the last two times (2014 and 2016) and never paid more than $100.

The stadium has been renovated since your last trip. The seats in question, which were among the worst in college football (Colorado still has the same problem), no longer exist. That's not to say that the current visitor seats are great (they aren't) but they are not as bad as the old ones.

Go post on the Aggie board (not through TD) for about 1 month. Get 10 or so posts in about track or whatever. Then migrate to their ticket section and you will find some. They have a cult system that prohibits sale to opposing fans. Wear a white shirt/LSU and don’t be a jerk. They will still ask for the name of the person you bought from as the cult says you have to offer to adjacent season ticket holders first. They get pissed about stubhub.

Make sure you buy tickets in an LSU section...the fans there stand up the entire game and are some of the most obnoxious fans in the conference...along with being very rude

Once in a life time visit? Sit 50 yard line in the lower bowl. You won't miss the extra few hundred dollars a few years from now.

Texas has eliminated all lower level visitor sections. When LSU goes in 2019 to Austin the seats will be in the north upper end zone level (which is way lower and better than the uppers at Texas A&M) The Big 12 does not have the same rules as the SEC on providing lowers and even the visiting bands are starting to have to sit in the upper levels in the Big 12

That's the most Texas thing I've ever heard. But that's still probably better than being shoved behind the detached section like I had posted about previously.

All 3 times I've been to Kyle Field with tickets bought through LSU were so high up in the north endzone that:

I could see South America from there.

The air is so thin that you need an oxygen tank to breathe.

A passing United 767 was close enough that the flight attendant handed me a drink as the plane passed by.

I've already started working out on a stair step machine at the fitness club...
