It's gonna be a tough ticket Sat night, after that it should be relatively more reasonable
Even the average casual fan that has no ties to LSU wants to see Skenes pitch in this one plus Crews plus the Tenn team and it's stars

I was going to buy the 2nd round tickets for both games before they go up but they want another $50 in fees. Definitely better to just wait and buy them there

There were Ole Miss fans who couldn't get in last year and had to watch the games across the street. Of course those were the title games, but LSU will have a ton of folks there. The demand will be high.

Is a seat in Section 114 worth it?

I wish I could get a straight answer on this, some say title games are easier to get in, now your saying fans couldnt get tickets.

Would love a definitive answer lol

Apparently you DON’T know about supply and demand if you think they can ARTIFICIALLY inflate the market. Either the demand exists at that price point or it doesn’t.

How can this get downvoted? Economics dictates that If a price is artificially (or unreasonably) inflated and the demand does not exist for that price, no one will buy tickets (and prices will moderate). In other words, ticket prices will ultimately fall or rise to the correct price based on demand.

Because I am talking about the present moment. Not what is going to happen. Holding back tickets and raising the prices artificially inflates the market…..for that point in time. That isn’t debatable

Scalping is the way to go. There will be hundreds of tickets around the stadium. You will be fine going out there with no tickets.

There weren't any tickets for sale outside the gate for either title game last year according to my Ole Miss friends who went. Now that was Ole Miss' first time to play in it, but I would think LSU would bring a ton like Ole Miss did.

It all depends who is in the game. FL fans don’t travel well. Oral Roberts does have a huge fan base. TCU would bring a lot and so would Virginia.

If they can get away with charging exorbitant rates they will. They only way they can is if people pay those prices. Just refuse to pay those prices.

That strategy worked out well for Taylor swift fans…..

The ticket brokers are going to always charge more for LSU games. Always have and always will.

Sure, it’s debatable. At the end of the day there is still the same amount of supply and the same demand at any given price point. If more of the supply were “released” at a given point in time, the price in the moment might be lower, but that would only induce other brokers to buy at the lower price and re-sell at the higher price they know someone else will pay later. That’s what starts this whole cycle in the first place. The NCAA’s starting price is too low, which opens a market for brokers to step in and make a profit. If they started at the highest demand price and slowly came down, they’d capture the portion of the market willing to pay at each price point. You’re not incorrect that if people are patient they MIGHT be able to wait for a better price. The problem is they risk getting beat to the punch by others playing the same waiting game. Nothing in any of that is artificial.

It’s really simple if you want a ticket you pay the price they’re asking if not, don’t buy

So if there is 1 left, it is more valuable than if there are 1000 left?

More challenging to do that these days with 35 dollar ticket fees nearly both ways. So needs to be 70 dollars higher to make a dollar doing a resell
