Three biggest question marks of LSU’s football team?

Linebacker, corners, and running backs? All three QB’s have already started games so no big question mark here. Corner transfers have started on other teams so maybe it’s just two positions. What do you see on this team?

Say more about the LB’s. Mike Jones, with proper coaching, will be great. He’s proven. Baskerville is solid and proven. The others have shown enough. Under House these guys will ball out.
I would sincerely like to hear your thoughts.
Running backs, I’d say we are more than set here. Cain, if healthy, will be 1b. Emory is going to live up to the hype. Josh Williams doesnt get enough credit.

RB will be fine. Emery, Cain, Williams, Bradford and Goodwin are a pretty damn good group

Excellent point! On offense I don’t see the Oline as a big question mark or at receivers. But who will LSU rely on to carry the ball and secure the ball? It is a large group but only a few will play.

O-Line, Secondary, Linebackers.
O-line will be better than people think. Will take a few games to gel.
Secondary is thin, but if can stay healthy will be great.
Linebackers... that's the question.

How about special teams? Huge shoes to fill left by Atkins and York

Easily QB, O line, and secondary

per PFF, we have two LBs in their top 25 (baskerville and jones)

Offensive line:
Does LSU have a Center? Will the big jump in competition be too much for the new transfers (Shorts and Frazier)? Assuming Frazier is one of the starting tackles, how big of learning curve does Campbell have to overcome. The talent is there, but he's not physically overmatching HS kids anymore.
Linebacker:
Once the defense was finally free of the "savant" that was Ed Orgeron we saw, again, just how good Damone Clark could be. Unfortunately, he's gone, and the only LB on the roster that seems to have similar physical attributes is a true freshman (Perkins). Baskerville is a solid player, but probably a bit limited (sideline to sideline). Jones as well (he's a bit small). Then again, it could be a situation where Orgeron had them in such a terrible scheme that we don't know how good these guys really are.
QB:
All seem to have great potential strengths and glaring weaknesses. Nussmeier is probably the best "total package". But having a great total package doesn't mean much if you are making poor decisions and trying to force throws that aren't there. Brennan has the arm, but seems to be limited everywhere else. Is freshman year Daniels the real him? Or is last season's Daniels the true representation? Regardless, IMO, LSU is going to have to figure out who their guy is soon so they can start to build the offense around his strengths.

running backs?
This will arguably be our most solid corps other than receiver and D line.
The BIGGEST question mark is O-line without a doubt.

Linebacker, corners
I think our starting units will be above average. Depth is an issue.
PFF has 2 of our corners in the top 25 CFB corners. We are 1 of 2 programs with 2 CBs in that range.

OL and TE - Tre'Mond Shorts was a 4-yr starter at FCS school East Tennessee State. Can his skillset and physicality transition to the SEC. Miles Frazier was courted by tOSU, A&M, FSU, and others. I feel he will be fine and fill the gap LSU needs. Kole Taylor 6'7" 250 lbs. Jr. really needs to ball out this year. He has 12 total catches for 2 seasons at LSU. He needs 3-5 targets at minimum per game.
The key to LSU's success is can this team stay healthy. The starters will develop confidence and do well. If any position player goes down, the backups are young and unproven.

This! It’s not Saban or Fisher, it’s this. LSU has any chance to upset one or both if they remain healthy

Football teams with championship aspirations always hinge on the same three units.
OL
DL
QB

DL
QB

In reality, there are huge question marks at special teams, more so than anywhere else.
