Are you serious? The Hoover Met is very out dated.

Compared to Zephyr, it's the new yankee stadium.

It's not big enough. 5,000 seats and roughly 750 can sit on the berm in right. They would need to add about 2k more seats. SEC tourney games last year avg. about 7,800 per game.

If they added seating in left field it would do it.

Nashville really is the no-brainer.

Brand new stadium and located downtown and not in the suburbs...

I've been to three of the last four SEC tourneys. Hoover is nice, but I'd prefer a place with hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Zephyr does not fit the bill. Memphis or downtown Birmingham would be nice.

Honestly they aren't. Zephyr doesn't have anywhere near adequate facilities to accommodate the amount of media that cover the SEC Tournament. Not to mention ESPN and SEC Network televising every game.

I know I won't ever make plans to travel to Hoover, AL

I'd go if it was in Nashville.

I would like to see it at the super dome. It would be cool and we could stay and party.

My understanding from clients in the area is you would not want to walk too much around the new stadium in downtown Birmingham. And I don't think you have easy access to as many hotel choices there as compared to Hoover.

I've only been to the Memphis stadium once but I did stay downtown and just walked to it.

It would be interesting to see distances to the SEC schools from these stadiums being mentioned. I'd think Hoover is pretty convenient to many but I'm probably wrong.

Except for the Vandy hometown factor.

If it is moved from Hoover to a neutral site I would prefer Memphis.

Auto Zone Ball Park

You would rather that over Nashville's new downtown stadium? I like Memphis but I would have thought more people enjoy Nashville to visit. Both are better than Hoover though

I don't think a baseball configuration is possible in the Dome since the seating improvements that were done a few years ago.

Minute Maid in Houston would be awesome if it could be arranged during an Astros road trip. Loved watching LSU play there last year, no weather concerns, and plenty hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Easy drive from BR.
