Alleva is still the worst AD in college football (and it’s not close), regardless of whether he gets lucky with his hires.
Nunez gets credit for Wade anyway.
Alleva is the worst combination of an incompetent and moral slimeball, and he has no business holding any job in college athletics.

Of course we do, but they have computer programs that make this so simple a moron could do it. I can run a report anytime I want to see where the money is going. Don’t act like that is something special.
And as far as being taken advantage of, I spend more money on entertaining clients than a lot of people make in a year. The average sports fans are the ones paying the price.

I will give him credit for the structural improvements of Tiger Stadium and his role in bringing in Will Wade. I guess one could also give him credit for not allowing PM to go to Texas.
It’s long past time for a new AD at LSU. I’m sure Joe Alleva has made many positive contributions to our athletic department, but it’s time for some fresh new leadership.

Not too many people make that kind of money by happenstance.

The more I see of him, the worse he is. Anyone could do the job, we need someone who is universally respected by his peers. SEC office thinks less of this douche AD than I do. We literally have the worst AD of any major program and every other school and conference knows it.

This. It’s fundamentally changed the game day atmosphere. Campus is very different on game day than it was 15 years ago.
There is nothing about the parting of ways from Les Miles that is acceptable regardless of how much success O might have. Throw in crap like the Florida fiasco, and Aleeva has been a mediocre leader at best.

You can't make this claim and be intellectually honest. He made the hires (Wade and O) and sink or swim with the results. You can't give him the blame and not the accolades.
That being said, Alleva should be immediately fired, if not arrested, for what he did to those boys at Duke. Nothing he every does, in my opinion, will relieve him of the guilt he deserves for participating in the Duke LaCrosse fiasco. The lives of many young men (not to mention their coach) were changed irrevocably forever. He should be paraded naked through the streets with someone behind him ringing a bell and chanting "shame.........shame......shame....."

I will laugh all the way to the bank. Alleva is an idiot and so is anybody that thinks he does a good job. If you really want to credit someone for making our Athletics profitable then you can start with Ausberry and Ewing
