I know at the beginning of the football season i was a lurker and i noticed alot more negativity thrown around about CEO and Alleva.

Now after the season it seems many of the posters have started to believe in the staff and are buying in on our sports as a whole.

After a solid season in Football, good basketball and baseball teams as well, do you guys still look at Alleva as a liability?

Alleva is an incompetent boob and any success is despite him rather than because of him.

Alleva is a bum and always will be. Even if O turns out to be great, the way the hiring process was run was a fricking joke.

He had a lot of help with getting Wade, so he doesn't get much credit there from me.

Well the game day atmosphere is pretty much ruined for every major sport. Commercialized to shite and over price... overall opinion is that he’s a greedy a-hole

He still hasn't apologized to Duke Lacrosse.

Meh, we could do better. I think his only shining success right now is basketball. Football and O are still trying to figure things out. I’m not sold on O just yet. Next year will be the litmus test for sure. Aleva has a long ways to go to make up for the miles firing/ O hiring fiasco in my mind.

The fact that he got ANY JOB much less a job as AD at LSU is inconceivable after the Duke fiasco.

There are mistakes for which people may be forgiven. The deal at Duke is not one of those. He threw his own people to the wolves on the word of a druggie stripper / hooker* and never looked back. How does that happen?

*Now convicted murderer to boot.

there has been alot of negativity about Alleva in the past. He is an easy target when things are not hunky dory.

I personally don't have a clue if any of it is justified, but i personally never attacked him.

i like the proactive stance he took for Fulton getting reinstated. I love his Will Wade hire. I was ok with him hiring Orgeron. There could have been 'sexier' hires but they would not have necessarily been smarter hires. And to date, Orgeron has done a really good job. The only issue i have with Orgeron is perhaps OC but cant blame Alleva much for that.

I think Alleva is a good athletic director from everything i am able to obvserve as a fan that is pretty much out of the loop on the intricacies of everything.

Why would it be any different? He will move up if when teams come calling for Wade he can make sure nobody gets him.

and he just went behind the fanbase and will raise ticket prices on certain football and baseball tickets, love how they sneaked that onto the board minutes without anyone knowing about it

Realistically yes

This is his 3rd Basketball Coaching hire. This isn’t baseball 1/3 isn’t good

But O could obviously turn this all around if he really broke up some big seasons.

Realistically O needs to prove he’s as good or better than anyone else we could have done.

And we have to keep Wade long term

Still the most punchable face I believe I've ever seen. I'm up for having my mind changed though.

If the LSU Lacrosse team touches Nikki Fargas, he’s the man for the job.

I don't like Alleva and "the search" for HC and OC amounted to yelling down the hallway "Who wants to be the coach", but IF BB goes final 4 or at least moves close, O is "great" and baseball lives up to it's top billing that's pretty remarkable for the big 3 sports and I would grudgingly give Alleva some credit.

I know, monster run on sentence.
