Thought garza looked good at the plate in his return.
Like doughty in the leadoff spot.
Henry was shaky but got us through it.
Hill is still the man.
I also liked our patient approach, getting nikhazy out of there in the 6th inning

I was impressed overall. There is still lots of work to do, but I saw reasons for optimism. I swear I did.

I don't disagree, but we shouldn't pass judgment after the first conference game. Who knows whether either team showed up and was ready to play?

I thought Mainieri pitch hitting Hal Hughes for Cranford in the 6th inning was unreal..... amazing.
