This is a question on how you feel about those fans that stand at games. How do you feel about the standers? Should they sit and be quite when the team is on offense and only cheer sitting down when on defense? Would it be a better atmosphere if they were moved to the top row so they dont get in front of others who attend the game that want to remain seated?

Your comments would be appreciated.

If you're in the lower seats.. you have to stand up to see the field.

I usually sit until a big play is going off or someone stands up in front of me.

It kind of sucks for older people who just can't stand up all game or.. up and down for every other play.

I'm tall, so if I stand up, I'm fricking up the people one and two rows behind me.

fans who dont stand are stupid. with that being said, understand i respect your right to stand thewhole game, but im not. i will stand most of the game but sometimes i wanna sit down. if i sit, just calm down, dont start yelling at me to stand back up duringthe ten minute tv timeout.

I like to stand and cheer during the football games. I try my hardest to get the people around me to get into the games. I can't stand when that fat old guy that sits three rows behind me and needs oxygen 3 times before he gets to his seat, tells me to sit down. I am at a football game not the opera.

If you not standing then good chance you are not being loud and if you not being loud you are not helping LSU but if someone is standing infront of you I don't think you have any place to tell them to sit.

So the person standing behind you has the right to knock the shite out of you as long as they don't leave the 1 ft. by 1 ft. space they paid for? Hey, they paid for the ticket, they can do what they want, right? frick the person in front of you.

They are young and to a degree usually inconsiderate of those around them. Enjoy those young legs while you've got them ya'll...eventually you'll get old and tired too. Then you'll know what the people bitching are talking about. I know because I was one of you once. You'll eventually learn that standing during celebratory times and presnap big plays are enough.

If you sit in the student section though...stand all you want. Whole different set of rules for the student section.

If you sit in the student section, you are ghey, unless you are all the way at the top and sitting by a few of your friends
but if you are in the main student section this is not a question

i like standing all game long..some older folks whose legs aren't as sturdy as my fresh young legs usually complain about me standing up..

this old guy kept grabbing my shirt and trying to tell me to sit down at the LSU-UF game of 07, right after they announced USC had scored..too bad the ol timer was drowned out by the crowd so i played it like i never noticed him

I think you should understand you are going to an exciting sporting event in a facility containing cloes to 100K people. You can't possibly expect that everyone in front of you will remain seated. I haven't been to a game since the early 80's, but I know that I would be standing at times, so excited I didn't think about the fact that I was standing. That's just part of the atmosphere that makes TS what it is. I would say that those who don't want someone standing in front of them, blocking their view, they should try to sit in the upper sections where the angle is more severe, allowing you to see from a higher prospective. I have sat up in the upper deck when the first one was built and the view was great. Otherwise, if being in a crowd of people who aren't concerned with whether or not you can see bothers you, you probably should consider staying home.

I'm in the student section so I guess my vote doesn't really count, but I say STAND. The only time I think sitting down is appropriate is during halftime....and TV timeouts if LSU is playing on CBS (there are soooo many and they are long as hell).

The ones sitting are usually old and grumpy and should be sitting in the living room watching the game there. A football game isn't for you people to sit and watch and whisper to your life partner about the last play. I have been going to tigers games my entire life and will not sit down. When the day comes where I can't stand, I will be in my living room cheering, not taking up the space of some fan who really wants to make Tiger Stadium what is has been long before your wrinkly arse got in there.
