It's a catch 22. You have to raise the $ to stay in the arms race Re: facilities and a lot of the fans who made TS what it is are priced out in that equation.

FACT - I can't afford to attend LSU games on a consistent basis anymore with all of the money grabbing antics. If they'd make the damn thing affordable for most, they'd pack it out

I quit going for 2 reasons...
1. Piped in music/censorship of some traditional songs.
2. Predictability of les miles/product in the field

Greeks occupy the backbone of the student fanbase at games. I say double the student seating and leave Greeks out of the expansion.

You’re stupid. There aren’t enough students to support doubling the student section. Especially not if you leave out all the Greeks

I think today's LSU fan is, to a degree, living off the reputation established by pervious generations of LSU fans.

We are not the NCAA's most crazed fans any longer but we like to believe we still are.

My father and uncles were students in the late 60's and I think their generation probably had a better time of things than we do today.

When the fans respond to being called soft by saying they'd rather watch the game on their couch I'd say they're soft.

. Many, the women especiallly, spend most of their time in the club and very little in their seats,

I am witness to this. At the Arkansas game half the people (mostly women) never left the clubhouse in the South Stadium Club. They stayed the whole time cause it was a day game.

I think if our games started at 4 more people would stay. Getting out the stadium at 10:30 then being stuck in traffic leaving and getting home at midnight gets old. When I was in my 20s this didnt bother me as much. Now im mid 40s and i have to make sure theres nobody on my lawn.

You can’t afford a $50 - $100 tickets 3-6 times a year or even 2 tickets?
That’s how much they go for on stubhub every game except maybe Alabama
Eat before the game and it’s not verifact expensive
A round of golf and bringing your family to the movies cost just as much

I go to 2 games a year. Would like to go to more when my daughter gets a little older. Anyone have good season tickets to sell?

Just my opinion, but I’ve always felt that one’s role as a spectator at a LSU / Saints game was to be as loud as possible so as to induce false starts and timeouts. Period. The idea that the fan’s experience needs to be ever enhanced at games is a losing endeavor to me.

If the head shed at LSU want the crowd to be raucus, they need to do what is needed to have LSU contending and at least able to beat Bama 50% of the time.
