Frank is very beloved. That could make a difference.

We need to keep coach Frank in some kind of role. He is well respected by all and our young men really like and respect him. I for one also like and respect coach Wilson and hope he is around for a few more years. Yes money does some of the recruiting but he is the one that sells the parents on our LSU. Geaux Coach Frank

Its why O should stay the frick away too. If you're a good salesman, anyone can recruit HS kids in Louisiana. Just ask Saban and the ones he got from there to play at Alabama.

There are certain kids still on the team and playing hard, in addition to certain recruits, that the new HC probably wants to keep. Most of those guys are tied to Frank

He also happens to be the position coach for one of the few bright spots on the offense, that includes a former 5star true freshman that has been awesome this year and who LSU cant afford to lose. Hes LSU through and through, the fans love him, and the LA high school coaching community loves him... Why would you not keep him?

It's sad how far our offense has fallen that the run game is the lone bright spot.

I know Wilson is known as an incredible recruiter, but the reality is recruiting these days comes down to money and which school offers the best financial packages.

Frank isn't a threat to LK as wanting to be HC. Frank wants to be a Tiger and should be retained.

Recruiting is a lot about the money in today's world, but there are still the relationships with the HS coaches, and no one has better relationships in LA HSs than Frank Wilson, it would be very short-sighted to ignore that.

Yeah don't think so. If it is Kiffin, Wilson and Kiffin have a relationship with Wilson previously so I wouldn't be surprised if he was retained. Now Brad Davis and the other Coaches? yeah I would expect them to be let go outside of Corey Raymond and maybe Kyle Williams.

Like the optimism but LSU has about as much chance of beating Oklahoma as O being named the next HC at LSU.

This game will be another horrible coaching performance with a team that has quit and who can blame them! I don't blame the players for quitting because it's not their fault this embarrassing circus is going on.

Do we even know if Kelly has been fired yet, since we supposedly fired him and put out a press release about the firing, only to put out another press release several days later basically stating, "my bad, it was a joke, but now he is officially fired."

This shite show can't end soon enough!

Frank isn’t going anywhere unless he chooses to leave for another job. And if Kiffin does come, it’s that much more likely he stays.

I'm not saying he won't be retained, but a very, very small percentage are kept on. You have to remember Wilson wanted to be the next HC, so why would any knew coach want a staff member that has loyalties to the previous coach and also wanted his job.

Also, why would Wilson want to come back when LSU has basically told him you are a good assistant, but you're not good enough to be our HC? It's clear Wilson wants to be a HC again one day and staying to coach under a coach that you lost the job to, probably isn't the best career move moving forward.

If Wilson truly wants to be a HC again, he needs to break away from LSU, where he's known as a great recruiter, and show he's more than that and has the skills to be a HC somewhere.

Frank is holding the current team together. Frank is holding the recruiting class together best he can.

He isnt going anywhere unless he wants to leave and at his age I'm sure he wants to stay.

I have it on a good authority tht FW be at LSU next season if he wants it is in his choice regardless of the next coach.

That’s bullshite! You might have been told that, but not by “good authority”. I have it on good authority (My own common sense) that the next coach can fire any coach on the staff.

BK thought that too and it cost us. That was probably his biggest mistake. Moffit Raymond etc.

No. That wasn’t his biggest mistake. His biggest was signing one too many WRs, Dlinemen and secondary guys in the portal and not signing three more portal offensive linemen.

Remember, the lack of continuity led to an SEC West Championship and a win over Bama. It was after the transition that things went to shite.

Kiffin has had the same RB coach for 8 years. Might have to find Wilson a new title

If LSU abandons this defensive staff, they have completely lost their minds. We aren't going to get any better for a long long time.
