This state and LSU are a laughing stock and the SEC will have the last laugh!

Tony Clayton (a Southern undergrad and law graduate) files a lawsuit for a number of players - at least two of which had been to pro training camps who were seeking to attend LSU - the SEC warns LSU of the consequences of rostering the former alleged pro players - LSU was not a party to the Tony Clayton instituted litigation and could have easily kept the appearance that it had no involvement with the lawsuit - except for the fact that Liz Murrill (the AG for the State of Louisiana and for Jeff Laaandry) decided to insert the state directly into the lawsuit, side with the players against the SEC, and make ill-advised comments about the SEC and disparage its commissioner - based on the governing structure for LSU - LSU is the state of Louisiana - from the SEC's and its member institutions' perspective, the state of Louisiana has no respect for conference rules and governance, LSU lacks institutional control, and LSU is in breach of its membership obligations to the other members of the SEC, and is now pursuing throwing LSU out of the conference - this state, the governance of LSU, and the governance of the athletic department is in shambles and a joke with the way this was handled - PREDICTION: LSU will not be voted out of the conference, however, prior to Thursday, LSU will be forced to accept some sort of stern disciplinary action and be placed on probation by the SEC - and LSU will be a laughing stock around the country
