And I well aware that it's dynamic - we may lose some more and gain some more. And some of the great HS class will leave. That's CFB 2024. But at this point in time, they are rockin' it.

Wish we could hold on to more talent instead of watching them leave but all things considered, we've done well so far.

As do I.

I deplore what CFB has become.

I think what people sometimes forget to consider regarding that 2023 class is that we were still trying to build the roster up to 85 players. When you’re in that position, you can’t really cherry pick players based on your position needs as much. If we want to judge Brian Kelly and staff’s recruiting ability, I think we should start with the 2024 class and after.

If we get a good Safety and another O-lineman, I will be impressed by what Kelly has done. Way better than just trying to sign value players with LA roots.

Agree. People keep hating but I don’t see what we’re supposed to be excited about.

Lost our best recruits. Missed out on the best transfers.

I personally think we’re in really bad shape (which at LSU may mean only another 8-4 but I consider that a huge failure).

I don’t think this roster makes the playoffs. I don’t see how this roster is better than last years.

The entire OL is gone (except the worst player). You can make the argument that Pickett and Jackson will bring stability to the DBs but that’s yet to be proven, and realistically a wash with everything else we lost.

I just don’t get what there is to be excited about? What are we pumping? LSU lost their best recruits at the death, and Ole Miss bought all the best transfers?

Exactly what are we happy about that shows we can make the playoff next year?

I wouldn't call filling needs "killing it".

Our upperclassmen sucked last year. This is a great time to attack the portal.

I think we are doing okay.
The defense will be much better but it doesn’t matter if Nuss fails to make the leap that Burrow and Daniels did in year 2.

2023 class is a all time bad class.. I dont think you can just let that slide. If just one of the DE, S, or Wr hit we are in much better shape. We got 3 starters out of 26 commits. 17 of those not even with the team 2 yrs later. Thats all time bad and set the program back significantly this year. Kelly made awful coordinator hires initially that he has to take responsibility for. I definitely think he's turned it around but those are program killers and you cant just gloss over his biggest mistakes up to this point like they didn't happen.

Im not sure about killing it but I feel pretty optomistic about getting our needs filled. Yet there are the regular negative ranters whom are never ever satisfied and will complain about everything!

Well, first and foremost, the portal and LSU’s additions are not remotely finished yet. That’s important to note from the start. As far as things to be positive about.

We all thought Savion had a really good year and Pyburn had very comparable stats this season. You should have a really salty defensive front between the young freshmen who played well and the new additions.

Van Buren is a great insurance policy with a boom potential going into the future.

Barion is a game breaking type player which we really struggled at this season while Hilton was out. Proven production at receiver with a ton of explosiveness.

Sharp isn’t near the tight end that Mason is but he can block and is physical. For what we need, I like that pickup and he’s likely going to be the TE2 anyway.

JaKeem allows us to move Ashton inside for better matchups.

The portal isn’t even close to finished but LSU has already filled a ton of needs with guys who project to start. You're still looking really good for a freakshow WR1 and a 2 year starting center. We're doing really well right now.
