Let me slow things down for you.

I posted a topic. I posted a link to substantiate the topic.

This is an LSU board. LSU is in the college world series. If you've been on this board at all you would realize that this board, and LSU in general, cares a lot about LSU baseball.

So no, I still don't think you have a point other than to denigrate what people care about and diminish our success in some miserable attempt to be a fricking a-hole.

Dignan - Just because a rating for a particular game isn't a high number doesn't make the game that was played a sport or not!!
When you look sport up in the dictionary, it doesn't say "an athletic activity requiring skill....and must have a Nielsen rating of 2.0"

Golfer,

You still didn't answer my question. You say that comparing the game on Monday night to the CW ratings is not an apples to apples comparison because both are not on national television.

Fair enough.

But why is college baseball not on national television?

I'll save you the time- because there's not enough interest in it nationally.

Well said, Bayou Bengal.

Seems to me, the point he was making was a really good illustration of the silliness and futility of starting a thread such as your's.

ToMAYto/ToMAHto, I suppose.

If that's the case, then why is the BCS moving to ESPN???

How did I get beat up? I ended that bitch when I called you a peanut vendor and you had no response except for a timely reference from a nearly 20 year old movie.

Who gives a frick? Really. There's interests here regionally. What's your reasoning behind posting all this? Now you answer that.

Do you think the BCS will draw a rating of higher than 1.5?

Just a little mindless Christopher Reeves Southpark humor and you taking away from our love.

To remind everyone that tonight's game isn't that big of a deal. It's not like it's football or basketball.

This is why everyone thinks your dumb. You have five thousand posts and you're still too dense to realize that people here care about college baseball.

It's a championship game that LSU is playing, it's a big deal regardless of the TV rating it garners on a niche cable channel.

Granted small sample but the 4 or 5 people that called my office today from out of state watched the games. Just saying.

Yeah, it's clearly not a big deal. There are only approximately 2,000 people visiting this site right now. It's a big deal to me and thousands and thousands more Tiger fans!
