Yes....it is very simple, to a extremely simple minded person. Which it appears you are.

When we are discussing a football game completely changing dates, on little, to no, notice:

- How much security does it take handle a football game at LSU?
- How many concession workers?
- How many gamedays staff members in general?
- How beneficial is it for the LSU football team to play a meaningless game against McNeese on a Sunday, then turn around and play a meaningful SEC game on the next Saturday?

This is just scratching the surface of what would have to take place.

But sure....in your mind I completely understand how it's as simple as "play on another date." You probably still struggle to color within the lines though.

They actually played the game for a short time but then there was a lightning delay that kept getting extended. Eventually, they just canceled.

Why worry? Everybody knows it never rains in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights.

The guy demanding contingency plans for the McNeese game is calling someone else a fool.

and our LSU admins. had ZERO contingency plans for this ! HOW is that possible ?? McNeese certainly was NOT going to return to Lake Charles that nite...why not have a plan of some sorts to play on Sun. ?

Oh yeah, just play on Sunday. Nothing to that.

If that game is played Fournette ends this season with over 2000 rushing yards…

Absolutely he would. The rain out probably cost him the Heisman.

... and give the team a short prep week prior to an SEC road game? No thank you.

This is the kind of game where stupid injuries happen because of sloppy playing conditions. That's the only thing about this game that concerns me. We absolutely cannot afford any more injuries.

The new breed of
candy arse vajayjay LSU fans have to have absolute perfect conditions for the Piped In Music concert and football game or they'll just stay home.

The fickle little darlings can't be inconvenienced in the least.

We wouldn't have even looked at the forecast prior to a game. We're there regardless of weather conditions and would not dream of leaving early to BTT. Post game traffic was just a given that you expected and were prepared for........

I flew in to watch that game from LA. I’m a McNeese grad, but love LSU football. We got to see a little over 5 minutes of football and waited till 11 (somewhere around then). It didn’t rain a lot, but lightning wouldn’t stop. Good thing we were staying in NOLA. Had fun there before we flew back.

I remember about a decade ago the Cowboys took the drive down I-10 into Baton Rouge only to get turned around and the game cancelled. Hopefully that isn't the case again this weekend and they let the boys play. Any thoughts on if that'll happen again?

Yes, I was there. I was seriously ticked off when they canceled the game.

This is a game against McNeese with no real tv implications. Change the game time now to 11:00 am Saturday, before the real heavy weather comes in. People with tickets can make alternate plans and would likely prefer that to sitting in a thunderstorm and eventually a cancelled game.
