The chances of him making it through 2019 are slim to none so just hope for the least amount of damage as possible during that stretch. I even think he knew this taking the job, he saw an opportunity to pad the bank account with millions and took it. Who can blame him on that one?

One or two years from now the program will be purged and the reset button pushed. In the meantime hope and pray for the best.

You know ZERO. We have a good chance to have a damn strong 2018 team, and championship caliber team in 2019. We are freaking loaded, Aranda is THE Boss on defense, and Ensminger is going to produce an eat crow offense for smart asses like you. O has a pretty good shot to making it through 2019 -- definitely not slim to none.

We just lost half our O-line, we have RB's who haven't combined for 25 touches in 3 years, our WR's are young and don't have 20 catches total

I'm not saying we are going to suck, but don't sit here and pump sunshine up my arse

Orgeron will succeed or fail and this thing will solve itself.

No amount of gnashing of teeth will speed up the process.

Whether u want to blame O or not this is our least talented team since Saban stepped on campus. Young QB am no dominant tailback 7-5 or 8-4 ceiling.

We'll get 7-9 wins next year. The O sycophants will high five each other and claim it a grand success, supported of course by O's social media PR crew.

... But everybody else will have had enough. Right after the next recruiting class is secured, yaw yaw will be shown the door.

I am not saying we won't be good but I don't think people realized how lucky LSU has been over the years to be blessed by an elite staff of running backs, as of now, we don't have that for next season. It took so much stress off the offense in different ways.

People will have to step up and improve quickly here for LSU to have any type of balance.

Brennan is extremely talented and capable, but what it looks like through an entire brutal schedule is something else.

LSU loses key people on its offensive line, we have unknowns at wide receiver.

I think the D will be excellent like always but if offense can't sustain drives consistently and score efficiently, LSU is in for a major wake up call next year.

I feel like this is a fair assessment

Hey, all of us know ZERO on how we do in 18 and 19. We have good players that have to develop - especially at QB, OL, and RB. I just think that E will have a good offense, A will have a damn strong defense, and O will keep the guys fired up and playing hard.

I bet if he doesn't make it though 2019, he wouldn't ever be a HC again because we were the only school that would hire him. Remember when Syracuse didn't want him as HC? Syracuse!!!!! Coach E wouldn't be entertained as an OC anywhere in college football and our shrimp boat captain said he is the best OC in the game.
