O left ole miss loaded with talent.

if he can finish this class and next years class is really good (good year for Louisiana) our program should be stocked with talent for whomever the coach will be.

The bottom line is it's unlikely he makes it through 2019 but we are stuck with him until then so hope for the best.

this narrative is really getting old and trite. do you not know what sycophant means. I know of no LSU fans that are sycophants and just because some refuse to disparage every move he makes doesn't make them a sycophant. I guess you belong to the Donald trump school of name calling; how original.

You know ZERO. We have a good chance to have a damn strong 2018 team, and championship caliber team in 2019.

So many questions about offensive personnel next season has me concerned. One of these young QBs will need to be at elite level for things to work.

He will either win next year or be gone. The anxiety is worthless.

I don't think many believe this, hence the anxiety. And I tend to agree. If O is 7-5 or better, he's here another season.

I have no idea of what the offense will look like, but I think not having a great running back may actually be beneficial. Hear me out. For a while we have had that dominant back, which made us one dimensional on offense. With the lack of proven talent at running back, the offense will forced to develop a decent passing game to move the ball efficiently and effectively. We'll just have to wait and see if Ensminger can deliver.

The chances of him making it through 2019 are slim to none so just hope for the least amount of damage as possible during that stretch. I even think he knew this taking the job, he saw an opportunity to pad the bank account with millions and took it. Who can blame him on that one?

One or two years from now the program will be purged and the reset button pushed. In the meantime hope and pray for the best.

You're dreaming again moron. O will be here for many, many years to come making your life very miserable. Which makes me very happy.

In fact, Dave Aranda would have jumped ship and gone to A&M if he thought for a second that his best friend, coach O, was a sinking ship.

Indeed, the three amigos, O, Aranda, and Ensminger will be here for many, many years to come making you morons very miserable and me very happy. Geaux LSU!!!

The bottom line is you don't know shite. That goes for 95 percent of the miserable fricks on here.
You'd rather see Orgeron fail than succeed because you've already run your damn mouth so much you can't turn back.

No matter what Orgeron has ALWAYS been in a lose/lose situation with you miserable bastards.

LSU wins- must be the coordinators etc etc

LSU loses- All on Orgeron

Last time I checked even Dave Aranda coached in the Troy game.

Recruiting is crucial. WE need talent in place for the next guy.

Sort of. Here's how I see things:

What we want is a coaching staff that can produce 6-2/7-1/8-0 seasons in the SEC almost every year. If Orgeron can somehow pull off the miracle of running a monster offense with Old Man Ensminger leading the way, and winning SEC titles once every 3-4 years, then everybody's happy.

If Orgeron goes 3-5 or 4-4, then his promotion of Ensminger is the smoking gun the Board needs to fire his arse, and then the program will have the huge opportunity to do its hiring correctly, which every knowledgeable fan has been wanting since the rumors about Les Miles first swirled in 2015... if not long before then.

However, I think you're discounted the very real possibility of the nightmare scenario right in the middle--i.e., that Orgeron will somehow find a way to stumble through 5-3 records in the SEC with Ensminger as OC, in which case the LSU fanbase will remain divided against each other, and things will remain miserable for everyone, as they have been for many, many years now.
