It's also the reason we'll go 12-0.

Look how much better we are than everyone else. TWENTY SEVEN attempts! Oh, and we're balanced too!

Worst in the country to best. The red zone offense has been the biggest surprise to me.

Good offenses work on the RZ game more than anything. It's all about points, baby!

this is what i’m most proud of. Red zone offense has been vehemently bad for so long.

Everything is so refreshing this season.

Red zone efficiency is 100% the biggest improvement on this team.

Redzone and third down will always tell you about the quality of an offense and its scheme. Everything else can be a bit misleading.

This is incredible. Another absolutely amazing stat is that we are scoring a TOUCHDOWN on 56% of ALL OFFENSIVE POSSESSIONS and we score points on 70% of all possessions. Our average points per possession is 4.3. That’s based on 50 offensive possessions (this doesn’t include three or four that were kneels at the end of a half or game).

Actually our RZ scoring % was pretty good last year, it’s just our TD% was horrendous

I feel like we haven't even gotten to "know" Cade York. Hes been nails in his opportunities so far but thanks to the offense we haven't really had to stretch him to the far edges of his range.

It's funny that Cole Tracy became our star kicker simply because of how often we needed him with a stagnant offense. York might be as good or better but he's not gonna be a household name. For a true freshman kicker, I think it's been beneficial to ease him in with some shorter, low pressure kicks.

I'm not rooting for offensive drives to stall but I wouldn't mind at some point if he got a couple long range attempts in a real game situation, knowing that we made need him to nail those in tougher games like Florida, Bama and Auburn.

LSU Red Zone stats:

100% Scoring in the Red Zone.
81% Scoring TD's in the Red Zone.
27 trips to the Red Zone in 4 games.

Bama Red Zone stats:
93% Scoring in the Red Zone.
81% Scoring TD's in the Red Zone.
16 trips to the Red Zone in 4 games.

Similar stats except we have 68% more trips to the Red Zone. Who would have imagined this before the season started.

LSU moved the ball just fine between the 20's in 2018, but the red zone offense was abysmal. This is the most important improvement they've made.

correct. Even if you want to run up the gut - still spread the defense out. Then there are fewer defenders in the box and we won't telegraph a run.

22/27 were touchdowns too, 81.4% TDs is awesome!

Red Zone offense has been abysmal in years prior.

That combined with our redzone D will be the ticket.
