exactly what we can tell the CFP if we lose two more games besides BAMA
Not sure what you’re getting at, but it’s absolutely possible to lose two games, beat Bama, and win the SEC championship..

There are at least 3 approaches to building a football program;
1) internal structure and discipline, combined with loading up winnable games on the schedule. This is what Vanderbilt does to get bowl eligible; Kansas St, Boise St, and now UCF are perhaps the best example of how far it could get you. This is the type of team that won't beat an elite program in a 7 game series, but the goal is to get to a 1-game (like a bowl) and have a chance. Schemes make a big deal.
2) other end of the spectrum: "elite" big name program that sucks up all the talent it can, and as Barry Switzer used to say, would out-athlete the opponent. This is Bama, used to be USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Fla State, Miami, and in early 2000's LSU. Georgia seems to be building to this, although it probably isn't quite as good as they're made out to be (put them in the SEC West and let's see what happens). Scheme doesn't matter, they can run a 1960's offense and smash you into the dirt.
3) this is the combo of the above- good name, can get plenty of talent, but needs something extra to match up with the elites. This is LSU right now, Oklahoma now, etc. We're talking about the 'very good' teams, that can win 10 games now with the bowls; should beat the type 1 teams, but can't beat the Bama's ... without something extra. And again, schemes might be the difference between playoffs and Citrus Bowl.
LSU is "Bama-obsessed", because it CAN beat everyone else on the schedule (although it may not), but it CAN'T beat Bama recently. We've slipped from being highly competitive with them, to not seriously challenging them.
Using the UGA game as a barometer, LSU isn't too far off, and could probably beat every other team in CFB in a 7 game series. But the goal, the reason we fired Les, is to get back up to that prior level.

who gives a shite what's happening over there, until we can win every other game besides BAMA it doesn't matter whether we beat them or not.
So we could go 11-1, beat bama, go to SEC championship, CFP, win the NC, but lose to, lets say UF....
and that doesnt matter?
You didnt think this thread through

not 2 besides BAMA....you left out that little "besides" for convenience......a 3 SEC loss team isn't winning the west, not this year
Point still stands, win the other games before worrying about BAMA

But we haven't even gotten that close yet jackass, in past years if we would have won the other games besides BAMA we would have gotten in the CFP.
We haven't been elite lately, we are a 3 loss type team, that is worrying about what big brother is doing.
We need to be a one loss type team before we worry about that, and we haven't been close.

That's not what your OP said BTW
Anyways...You don't think if grant Delpit or Joe burrow went down for the year that other teams boards wouldn't be talking about that, even Bama?
It's extremely relevant to the season ahead of us.

At the end of the day, Bama hasnt lost many games in the last 7 seasons in general. The only teams that have beat them are Auburn, Texas A&M, Clemson, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Ohio State. Plus some of those loses are in the national championship games.
If there's one team that Bama does respect, it's us or else they wouldn't schedule a bye week before us every year. I find it funny their two byes are before us and Texas A&M. Frankly Bama has had more depth than us the last few seasons and now I think we're getting closer to being on an even playing field.
Lets be realistic, do you think Brandon Harris or Anthony Jennings were good enough quarterbacks to win out? The answer is no chance.

I could careless about Bama.

the system that the midget has, he's got two deep at every position,
We were two deep at ilb last year. You don’t think we were worse with White out and Queen playing? Of course Bama is a worse team without their third year all SEC guy and signal caller. Instead they will be playing a freshman. And BTW, who comes in when the freshman is exhausted?

Idk. I must be weird by saying this but I dont like losing.
Maybe we should take the Mr. Rodgers approach and just have fun out there like a couple good ol pals.
EFF that.

0-8 and 9/11 gives us reason to be paranoid about Bama. Get over it

No. LSU is it's own roadblock. Score some points. Alabama doesn't care what you think. They crush teams.
