The program was in a position to reap huge benefits on the momentum from 2019

The pandemic slowed that down, but the staff shot itself in the head

2020 was always going to be a down year once we lost all of the starters from 2019.

Getting beat out for starting positions doesn't mean they're inexperienced.

Not being a starter simply means you're not out there on the opening drive. Plenty of these guys have accumulated significant playing time over the years.

But, how many had to replace the amount of talent we lost last year?

Do you not think that's a big deal?

Depends on the coaching staff

Some can lose 8 defensive starters and still field a top 50 defense.

We, on the other hand, give up the most passing yards in SEC history to a team that got dominated by Arkansas & Kentucky.

Well then I must ask why did the Pandemic not Affect MSU against us and yet they had no problem with us. Also Missouri had 6 players out with Covid 19 , yet they had not a problem with us. The Pandemic seems to not be bothering everyone and its time for LSU fans to stop making excuses. EXCUSES are for LOSERS.

Even with backups and backups of backups we should be able to beat Mizzou playing a freshman QB with no real experience. Our D coordinator is making $2.3 M and our D has shown no improvement in three weeks. It seems like people are just as lost now as they were against State.

Like who exactly?

There are certain positions that require good chemistry and communication that we lost all of that basically.

QB and Receiver
Offensive line
Secondary

By that token, Georgia should win a national championship every other year

I was called a moron for saying we won't finish up 1-9.

That about sums up the state of fans who are lost out to sea.

The issue is not that we aren't very good. We flat out suck. Mississippi State and Missouri are bad teams and we made both of them look like world beaters. It's going to be much worse when we play a team that's actually decent.

Big time programs don't fall off of a cliff like this. A down year for us should be 7-3 or 6-4 or something like that. This team might not win 3 games.
