They were 12-9 coming into this game. Really tearing it up.

The majority of their losses came on the midweek, they handled a previously undefeated A&M squad last week.

I think so
I'm not confident. The relief pitching is getting very close to what we thought they would be. Herring, Ack, and Guidry all looked great this weekend. Hurd needs to step up but if he doesn't cut it tomorrow I'm confident that he will figure it out in the pen like he did last year. If it comes to that hopefully Anderson or Coleman can fill that 3rd starter spot.

This team needs Kling, even moreso with Frey and Brown unable to play OF right now. He is last years Hurd. CJJ needs to keep plugging him in bc this team will only win it all if he lives up to his potential

I doubt it. They'll finish no better than fourth in the East behind Tennessee, Vanderbilt and South Carolina.

Not many defending champs have made it back to

USCe, Vandy, OSU all have made big time runs. We can do the same. I don't expect us to win it this year but I do expect us to get there as always

And ranked #6. You don't watch much baseball, do you?

Bookmarked. We can revisit in mid June.

This thread will be anchored just like the one I made last year declaring we would make it to Omaha. I got tons of laughs and downvotes, but a couple of posters were on my side.

Need more consistency at the plate in key moments. They are not efficient at scoring runs when needed. The Homeruns are nice but I don’t see enough situational hitting at this time. 5 runs per game needs to be 7 runs per game in SEC play.

Kling has made solid contact twice this weekend. Both were caught, but hopefully that’s a sign that he gets better at the plate. The lineup reminds me of Johnson’s 1st year right now.

They may…. But I doubt it. This a good team, not a great one. Won’t win the NC but that’s ok. You can’t win it every year

May, maybe not. Omaha isnt some guarantee. Especially for a team that hits like this
