Some of you need to admit that you just take the opportunity to start shite at the first chance you get. Some good conversation in this thread and you have to come lay a big turd in it with more divisive BS. #goodfans

Also, learn to reply to the OP-or whoever you’re directing your post to. Don’t reply to my post with that shite.

I won't be sold on Orgeron until we see how he does when we start replacing coordinators.

Until then he has my support but not my confidence.

I’m not sure beating a mediocre Texas A&M team in a home night game should be a barometer for anything other than determining how mediocre we ourselves are.

Maybe that was a better way to say it.

Not by a long shot IMHO. I mean we could lose, but end the season with a resounding bowl win and still have some momentum going into next year.

Or we could win out and nothing is guaranteed. Archer went 10-1-1 his first year and had a very impressive bowl win and things went South after that.

The proliferation of media, traditional and social makes the here and now to be of magnified importance and the pressure to win now more important than ever but still I don't think this game will be his litmus test.

Plus we'll win easily.

No we aren't.

If we don't lose to Troy, we don't beat Florida and Auburn. It was a necessary evil.

Maybe. But we will be in the same boat as we were with Miles.

9 win team that makes average bowls and can’t beat Bama.

I actually like this response. That's kind of where I am at. I support the HC. I am not sold, nor am I confident he is the answer. I'm skeptical we can get sustained success with O for a variety of reasons, but I don't consider it predetermined like others.

Mediocre is 6-6, 7-5, or even 8-4 taking quality wins or lack there of into account.

Calling the Curley years mediocre is giving him too much credit. They were bonafide BAD.

had Alleva done that after UF meltdown last year we would have a better coach
... whoaaaaa chaps,..... it’s not like you had all the big name coaches knocking down the LSU door here to become the Head Coach...LSU is not the same elite program that most tiger fans believe they are...you had two candidates that “used” LSU as stepping stones last year.... one got his “dream job” the other got a hefty pay raise and contract extension on....so by no means firing anyone last year would have necessarily brought in bigger better name coaches...the list of candidates LSU had All had skeletons in their closet.....

Well Troy was my "deciding factor" game so I'll never be in until he achieves what the last two head coaches did at LSU. SEC and a National Championship.

Anyone stupid enough to base this bozo on one game vs a shitty arse A&M team gets every fricking loss coming LSU's way in the future. frick we have a horrible fanbase

It’s not one game. It’s turning a shitty season around with a possibility of 10 wins and another great recruiting class.

Lighten up, Francis.

Weakest season since 08 easily and that schedule was much tougher. Goalpost moved again!!

I'm good bro. You started this stupid thread and then tell others to chill when they respond? Passive-aggressive much?

And the WHOLE POINT of firing Miles was to be BETTER. Coach O is not and probably never will be better so there is another deciding factor for you to chew on

A coach having my support is a fluid thing. Les had my support up until about 2013, Trent J had my support after his first yr, etc... A coach has to accomplish AND MAINTAIN a high standard at LSU. He has never actually earned my support for life. Dale came the closest to that with hoops, but his last 3-4 yrs went straight off the rails.
