Thought it might be a good time to list some of the things we love about the Tigers. Here's some of mine, spread out over many years time:

1) I love the memories of listening to the games on the radio from places like Money Hill campground as a kid and picturing the plays in my mind based on the announcer.

2) I love the times I'd go to games as a teenager with my dad, older brother and friends, taking Highway 30 in and stopping at a convenience store on the way for cold drinks for us kids and a pint for the grown ups.

3) I love watching Jai Eugene with his towel waving, receiver lighting up self.

1) Taking the levee road to the game.
2) Buying a program every game.
3) My dad used to take me to Waffle House after the game.

the pre-game parties, the post-game parties and then people showing up at my apartment about midnight for breakfast. everyone would bring something and we'd cook eggs, bacon and toast for 20-30 people after every home game. hell, would wake up on sunday and would find 8-10 people had fallen asleep all over the place. LSU, what a place to go to college. damn, it was fun.

the unwavering and undying loyalty and respect of the Tiger faithful for the team, each individual player, and the coaching staff.

Uncalled for in this thread. There are a thousand other threads for this.

I love the walk across campus to the stadium.
Night games in Tiger Stadium.
Win or Lose, being a Tiger.
Eating at McDonalds before the game.
Parking in Kirby Smith lot.
Band coming down the hill.
The first four notes of Hold that Tiger
All of the the greats including but certainly not limited to Billy Cannon, Tommy Cassanova, Bert Jones, Charles Alexander, Dalton Hilliard, Gary James, Brady James, Eric Andolsec, Nacho Albergamo, Tommy Hodson, Eddie Fuller, Jacob Hester, Ben Wilkerson, Our current players.
The Golden Girls, the cheer leaders, Mike the Tiger. Hell I'm on a roll, I even love Toonces every now and then.

It's Great to be a Tiger!!!

I lived on campus at LSU. As a person who wasn't exposed to much as a kid from a very small town, I practically grew up at LSU. So I consider LSU to be my "hometown."

I guess what I love most about LSU is the opportunity it provides, both then and now, to meet people and grow relationships that bring good things into my life.

Even here on Tigerdroppings, the thing that unites us all is the LSU experience. And I'm glad that LSU has given me the opportunity to know some of you.

The rest of you can go to hell.

I love the fact that "Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium" is an experience like no other.

I love the Tiger Fans hospitality. Even to the opposing teams fan's. Everybody from West Virginia I saw I asked them, "Did y'all go to New Orleans? Are you having fun?" And they all said they loved it.

They say you don't know what you got till its gone. You also don't know what you got until you experience what other people have.

I went to see Tulane play TCU in 1993 (few friends played for Tulane). I bought a TCU ticket and couldn't believe they charged the same for their ticket as LSU charged for theirs. I couldn't believe I was at a college football game. It was so different.

And I love the fact that the guy who wrote the score for Rocky, "Gonna Fly Now"...went to LSU!!!!

Back in the day, my dad and I would go to the games. We would make a day of it. Park out by the union and have lunch, go buy LSU stuff at the bookstore, then walk down to the stadium, watch the band then go in for the game.

Those were good memories for me as a kid. Even though those were rough days for the Tigers.

I remember watching LSU get beat pretty bad by Miami in the pouring rain. Watched every minute.

The first thing I thought about when I saw this topic was those old beer commercials, so here is my ode to LSU:

I love sliding down the mounds
grilling gator by the pound
Getting way too drunk...
AND TWINS

I love the band marching down the hill
giving us all a thrill
Hearing USC lost to Stanford
AND TWINS

I love bone-crushing hits
Peterson giving teams the shits
Shepard running free
Handoff to Ridley
Watching the Tigers win...
and Those TWINS!

AND I LOVE LSU

I don't have any pics of said twins so

I love how much our fans love and support our coaches and our QBs.

It makes my eyes water just thinking about it.
