Wrong, child. Five SEC teams in a bracket of 12 cannot avoid each other.
Oh, I see. So it had absolutely nothing to do with the final poll numbers. Gotcha!!

Posts like this remind me how much LSU fans like to bitch and complain and play victim then cry when they see one other person from another school do the same

Nationally, NOBODY gives a flying fluck about college baseball, so that's a moot point.
Also, 125% of the schools that give even the SLIGHTEST shite about college baseball are IN the SEC.

Some years maybe. But this year there's no clear cut dominant team. What's worse is IMO ND and Texas were capable of beating anyone in playoff if they get hot.. whether they a deserving of a playoff spot is debatable. But they are more deserving than jmu and Tulane. NCAA must fix this. They can't leave team's out that could beat anyone in playoff on a given day and put teams in with zero chance.

Why don't you humor us all. Go ahead and give us what your rankings would have been 1-12.
You won't do it, because one of two things will happen.
1- it will lead to just as many SEC vs SEC match ups and you'll look like a dumbass.
2- it will lead to you making rankings that make absolutely zero sense to get the match ups you want, and you'll look like a dumbass.

There's an SEC team in nearly every game dumbass. That's what happens when the SEC gets 4 of the 7 at large bids. It's unavoidable. The only thing they should've done differently was flip OSU and UGA for the chance at UGA vs Miami and Carson Beck.
Bama was always gonna have to be in a matchup with another SEC team in the first round. You can't drop them behind JMU and Tulane
This type of logic is not accepted here.

Texas A&M vs. Miami
Oklahoma vs. Oregon
Alabama vs. JMU
Ole Miss vs. Tulane
The fake poll numbers caused the matchups dumbass! In the very least, the rules should clearly state no games can occur between teams of same conference unless mathematically impossible.
The NCAA is trying to protect its business model by insuring, with false poll ratings, the SEC can not have the final 4 or 2 teams. WORD!!

Since you didn't have the balls to rank them, is that the rankings you are suggesting?
Don't you see some big issues with that?

Oregon is quite possibly the most over-rated team in the history of college football, don't ya think?

You keep spewing nonsense, and provide nothing. You may be too dumb for any hope. Certainly too dumb for a discussion.

Have you always had anger management issues?

Y'all are insane if you think ESPN, who controls the playoff, is actively trying to not have SEC teams in the final.

I am saying the last thing they want is an ALL SEC Final!!

You think the sports network that shelled out a frick ton of money to broadcast the SEC doesn't want an all-SEC final on its network?
Baw, that's not how any of this works.

I still would have been fine with the top 6 conference champions. The expectation is the conference would select their top teams in a format they won’t reward teams with bad records. The two top teams getting a bye. The PAC-12 dissolving makes it less needed. The other conferences just absorbing the teams was stupid.
Is anyone really mad with the following result and the rest of the teams going to a normal bowl exhibition games. Had the Pac-12 stayed it would have been
1 - Indiana
2 - UGA
3 - Texas Tech
4 - Oregon
5 - Miami
6 - Tulane
They would have created more parity had they eliminated all of these second chances. Every conference would have invested resources in competing for their one slot.
Also money could have incentivized more OOC matchups as playoff entry would have been based more on conference championship format.

They put SEC teams against each other in early brackets to prevent an All SEC Final.
This was not their thought process, but certainly happy if it's not an all SEC final.

Tulane is no longer in the SEC. By my recollection, there was only 1 matchup between SEC teams this weekend.

The long game is viewers and they want to put the most viewers in front of the channel. The SEC has been so dominant the format had to change and they will keep tweaking that format to prevent such dominance going forward.
Do not get me wrong. Will there be an all SEC semi-finals and final championship game soon? Of course there will be. The SEC can not be stopped by adding more CFP games, but managed with faulty polling and personal foul calls or non-calls.
