This should be a Major selling point to future recruits. The Fact that so many of his former players want to follow him to LSU shows that he is loved by them. Usually the former players at the former school would would have a "good riddance" attitude towards the Coach and staff.

Why? Unless he was a bad coach...

I’m sure they love Johnson but this only happens because of the new transfer rule

Does seem like a lot of players leaving considering such a successful season. Kinda feel bad for them

Imagine Charles Rogers and TJ Duckett following Saban to LSU.

What’s realistic gets at this point? Holgate seems like it could be the most realistic out of him Boirssiere and Donta Williams. 2 out of the 3 would be ridiculous

Usually they would convince themselves to feel that way when coaches leave them for a better job while they're stuck there with a new staff.

Now, they can leave and even go with the coaches they signed with in the first place without sitting out.

There’s only been 1 to commit to LSU and likely not many more. It’s not going to be a landslide of kids coming over. Why do people think that?

We'll see how many programs that lost a coach have the same amount of transfers follow their coach. If a bunch of kids follow Johnsom to LSU, then it could definitely be used as a selling point.

It’s going to be fairly common for players to follow coaches. I think a good bit of people saw this coming but there are still a large portion of LSU fans that cannot yet see the scope of what this new transfer rule is.

No one is following Johnson anywhere without it. The offseason movement with transfers is going to become so common that it’s not going to be a selling point for a program if kids follow a coach. And frankly he won’t need it.

LOL, did you think they came to Arizona because they didn't want to play for him. This is one of those self fulfilling prophecies.

One would hope that the existing talent on LSU roster would prohibit us from welcoming too many transfers. If not, something is really wrong.

A few will transfer out. Some will get drafted and go pro, as will some of the incoming commits. So we may be able to take a few. I’m not sure how many, though.

I am sure they like him, but I think coming to a premiere baseball school had something to do with this.
