Appears to be a lot less drama at this point and just very good women’s basketball.

They can definitely score. That travels better in December than it does in December.
I saw a sloppy team tonight that doesn’t cherish the ball or really care much to defend.
There’s lots of talent, but lots of deficiencies that need to be addressed.
I’m sure Kim is up to the task. I trust her to coach em up.

These were my takeaways, as well. We knew they could score, and they further proved that. The turnovers were largely unforced, careless plays, and there was a very noticeable lack of hustle getting back on defense. That was very odd to me. I've seen them have trouble with back cuts, but usually effort is not the problem. They were coasting back after nearly every shot.

LSU won this game by 16, but they handed Duke a large, large portion of what they put on the board with silly turnovers, and just not even trying to defend. If they clean up the decisions and simply play with an acceptable level of effort on defense, they are the best team in the country.

This team obviously won’t be a tough as nails D, so I’d like to see them take care of the ball better, much better.
I don’t know much about analytics, but I can’t imagine that was a very efficient 93 pts. That’s fine now, but will need to improve.

They were extremely efficient at scoring the ball when they actually got a shot off. The turnovers were the only thing that could stop them, and they were mostly just silly mistakes that were easily avoidable.

-Jada looks more and more comfortable. She's not spectacular like Milaysia, BUT she does NOT turn the ball over and her shot has come around.

She hasn't been as flashy as Mylaysia, for sure, but her pay as a point has been far above average from her first moment on the court in her freshman season, and her offense is coming around. This season, her PG play has been, in my estimation, as good as I have seen under Mulkey since Alexis Morris.

Watch her run the offense when on the court. I noticed last season she wasn't afraid to forcefully tell older players when they were out of position or needed to shift position. Not at all intimidated by the moment. And she is a great ball handler/passer.

The big white girl is a presence this team hasn't had before. She cleans up a lot of sloppy shots and controls the paint. Not sure how good this team would be without her in the middle.

Them MBB is special too. Dang, LSU is going full victory mode......across all sports.

They MBB defeated Boston College. IMO Big Test - made a believer out of me.

None of this matters if they don't beat SC.

The goal isn't to beat SC, the goal is to win a national championship. Hopefully they will do both.

Very ugly 1st period with bad shots and turnovers but came back with a vengeance.

I am impressed by how deep we are and would be shocked if we don't win it all this year.

yeah but the men have not really played anyone. I need to see coach McMahon get us into the tourney this year or he needs to go.

UConn is also very scary this year, as is Texas. South Carolina can be had.

1. Texas is the most impressive SEC team so far. Carolina is second and LSU remains a competitive mystery.

2. The first SEC game Jan 1 versus UK (in PMAC) will tell a great deal. UK is very good and is well-coached.

Seems every year we are about a 3 seed with a better than average chance to outplay the seed and make a run.

Are we better than that this year?

The 3-headed monster of guards. Best trio guards in the country. If one not playing well, the other 2 pick it up. Fulwiley is the spark, she is a lot of fun to watch. The more minutes she plays, the more points we score.
