He'll be ready for game 3 for LSU if they make it that far. All LSU has to do is survive 1 of the first 2 games. Floyd is good enough to go against Florida's #2 and get you a win. If LSU gets to game 3, Skenes gets the ball and LSU has a massive advantage in that game. Any kind of weather delay also extends to Skenes rest for a game 3.

I’ve been on this board for 19 years. Mostly lurk these days because I’ve grown up and moved on. But I see the bullshite you spew and this is by far the most impressive pile of horseshite you’ve concocted, so I felt obliged.

I bid you farewell. May the masses (majority) hammer your bullshite logic into oblivion. But I doubt it’ll stop you from starting another moronic thread tomorrow.

I never once said he shouldn’t play tomorrow.

It doesn't matter if you are saving him for a game or saving him for a single batter; every pitch he doesn't throw, you are still saving him. How much or how little you save him can vary, but it is an enormous risk to save him even for the few batters you keep suggesting.

It looks like you’ve ridden your best arms pretty long this week, and if you get down 2 or 3 runs early you will be in a huge bind not only with pitchers for a potential 3 game match with Florida, but for making it out of the game

This is the only thing I’m worried about. You think he is for sure even if he goes complete game tomorrow? I’m asking this seriously.

If the champ series had a few more game sun between, then yes for sure you start Skenes tomorrow. I’m just worried that he may not be fully good to start game 3.

Leadoff single followed by a home run. You're down 2-0 and Skenes hasn't even set foot in the bullpen to start warming up. You have yet to explain how potentially spotting a 1 or 2 run lead to one of the best aces in the country is "no negative".

Explain how we got there, batter by batter.

If skenes pitches in any form tomorrow, more than 5 innings, we win.

I’m just saying he doesn’t have to start.

This is an elimination game in Omaha to get to the CWS finals. You don’t hold anybody for future games at this point. You run your best out there to keep your season alive and have a chance to play for a championship. Skenes will and should start tomorrow.

Stop scaring these clowns with your logic.

Skenes could go 7-8 innings. Bringing him in later in the game limits his outing. We could lose 2-0 after they score 2 before we bring Skenes in the game.

Skenes is a machine. He can warm up pre game. And be ready if need be. He’s going to do what he does no matter what.

You just said earlier that if things go bad. You explain it.

Oh you can’t because there’s no way to know.

The chances of it happening are less when you start your ace.

I can’t believe you keep moving the goalposts.

He is only suggesting holding him for future innings, not games. He is our last trump card, and you don’t risk not even having him appear in the champ series by playing him when you don’t have to.

I’ve never once moved the goalposts this entire time.
