You're insisting that putting Skenes in with 2 on and no outs presents zero risk of costing us a run, and you're telling other people they "can't think logically"?

I just have that much faith in Skenes

I bet you majored in some bullshite liberal arts degree and got in touch with your feelings. All the while you spent too much time thinking and considering instead of actually following through with jack shite. Then you reflected, analyzed and documented whatever bullshite you came up with or got yourself into.

This isn’t rocket science and it’s not even junior high algebra. Start the fricking man you’ve ridden all year against the best team in the country—a team better than what we’ll see this weekend if it’s meant to be—and be done with it.

Florida has been the best team so far. So there's that.

Why would you not have him start to prevent the bad situation then? Lol

the frick? You realize who they have on the mound tomorrow right? Have you looked at their bullpen? Most of their best relief is still available. There's no waiting for a bind before you put Skenes in. You put him in and then figure it out later if it comes to that.

LSU has Dutton, Little, Money, and Collins, Hurd tomorrow. Do you feel confident any of these guys can get it done or do you want to see if you can stretch Skenes to pitch a complete game? Dutton/Collins don't see action for a reason. Neither does Money and you saw why today. Little gets tagged and has control issues. Hurd is the only one you should be giving the ball to and even he's risky because they already saw him and got a few good swings.

I can’t believe he’s still doing it.

Because he can still come in and nullify it.

I’d at least like to let them try. Doing that doesn’t mean Skenes isn’t available.

It really is impressive. I’m not sure I’ve got a rebuttal.

Abort thread at this point. OP’s a quack, but that was a given before I read the first post.

Have you watched LSU baseball this year? 4 of those guys you almost never see in a games for a reason. Hurd gets off to slow starts before he starts to takeover. It's not worth the risk.

No one said he isn’t. You don’t bring in your ace to “nullify” a bad situation. That’s why you start him. He’s your ace.

It should be fairly obvious.

But you can at least try it.

Not starting Skenes doesn’t mean Skenes can’t pitch

If this was the last game of the season, sure.

The way our staff has been pitching is what makes me think you 100% start Skenes tomorrow. They have stepped up at the most important time. Skenes gives us the best chance of making it to a Championship Series. You must take that chance.

Bruh just go take a knee on the sidelines. Nobody is going to agree with you because you're 100% wrong. I'm glad our million dollar coach isn't you.

This board wanted to crucify coach multiple times this postseason.

Because there’s no negatives from that decision. And the positive is you have him ready in game 1.

What if the bullpen starter gets rocked and Lowder is dealing? You would look like the dumbest motherfricker on the planet
