There’s an alternate universe in which we hire Dorkwitz

You know that’s who Woodward would have hired. Scott Ballard and a few other boosters wanted him too.

Thank goodness things worked out the way they did

Is this the same alternate reality that Hitler and Nazi Germany survive as well?

If Landry hadn't fired him yet. He would have fired him for this idiotic idea

This coaching cycle sucked. It was Lane or Drink. Thank god the admins realized that and went all in

I would have rather rolled the dice with Baker than hire Dorkwitz

Hate to tell you but the biggest surprise thru this entire process is probably how much Blake Baker has improved as a coach, under Lane.

I like Drink, but not for LSU. I remember Hester stumping pretty good for him.

Drinkowicz was on the short list. He has the lowest NIL budget in the SEC i think. He can’t keep his good players because of money. But he still wins.
If Kiffin wasn’t coming we needed alternatives. But kiffin was coming all along so no alternative was necessary

It's amazing how much a good offense will improve the defense, especially when the defense has an agressive DC who has the benefit of a sizable and safe lead. I think the LSU defense only played 48 total snaps. A lot of our defensive problems last year was a result of our defense being on the field too much. Today's OC's are pretty good. If you give them enough plays, they'll find a weakness to exploit. And we haven't even mentioned the issue of conditioning. After only 48 snaps, the defensive players should still be fresh. As it was, our better defenders played much less than 48 snaps.

100%. Best way to play defense is to play less defense.
