Louisiana produces a lot of good players.

I remember when people here used to say that Bama players from Louisiana were mostly busts. Crazy how that's changed since Landon Collins.

quote:Correct. They also want a position coach that can actually coach and develop their talents. (Not an inexperienced BBQ Buddy of the Head Coach that can only recruit)
They want championships not gumbo

Alarming number of Gump vanity plates on Louisiana vehicles, too. They might be a dynasty or whatnot, but certain people need to show some frickin loyalty.

How were these players plucked from here?

Only Isiah Buggs and possibly Irv Smith in isolated instances might have affected the outcome of LSU's season. If Buggs would have gotten sacks in the Florida and A&M games at key points it may have changed the results
Moses may not have started unless he played OLB, Shyheim is not as good as the the current starters but would have played some at nickel.
Devonta may have been a step above Marshll and Chase but not sue he markedlyimproved the passing game.

There’s an alarming # of Louisiana players on Alabama’s roster
And every time one of them signed with Alabama TD acted like it was no big deal.

What this guy said...amen. Buggs is a player missed. Other than that, give me a competent offense. Dumb shite is dumb

They decided they wanted to play for championships so they went to the school closest to home that gave them that opportunity.

There is an Alabama "Where Legends Are Made" ad on the top of the rant page tonight while I'm reading this thread. I'm waiting for the site to be maroon and white soon too.

If all those players were playing for LSU, perhaps it would be LSU winning the championships.

P Mathis definitely would have seen time on our D line. Another one O came in second for.

Having 70 year old position coaches doesn't help

A chance to play with the greatest coach of all time?
Hard to pass that up.
