Me too and I also saw the Florida defense help us out. Thanks be to Cade for saving the day. I saw LSU's defense have one of it's better games.

He never seemed rattled is the freaking point.

Brennan set the defense up with the fake and you give him no credit. I like Max, a lot, but no need to piss on the others to make a point.

Are you drunk? He faked a spike yet the dB was 5 yes deeper than Boutte and just waiting.

No db's were fooled.

It was not a good decision

Your point is all over the place. In fact, it changes everytime somebody makes you look like a damn fool.

"Max won games. Brennan was 1-2."

"I wasn't talking about the record of the team. I was talking about the QBR."

Anyone watching today and last year can see that. Max is much more dynamic and athletic.

Max would have done nothing more than MB even after experience, LSU's defense lost those games. If you can't accept that accept the fact you know nothing about football.

This is why Myles will be the starter. MaxFans act like he was a world beater against Florida. LSU rushed for 179 yards in the Fla game. The game was never in Maxs hands. The rushing game kept us in that one. In fact, on the final drive we had to rely on a stupid penalty and a 57 yard FG, because Max was 2/4 for a whopping total of 3 yards over the last 2 drives. The very next week Bama scored 52 on UF (187 rushing), then OKLA scored 55 on them (435 rushing). UF wasnt a very good team last year

How many of those rushing yards were MJ? I bet close to 50

Hence why I had " " around what I said. I was repeating what another poster said, not saying that myself. It helps to actually read the thread before posting.

LSU had a first and goal from the 2 yard line with a bit more than 1 minute to play in the Missouri game. Offense has to be able to put the ball in the end zone in that position against that team. If your offense and QB can't perform and produce when it has to, well..............

I think if you go with the tried and true question:

“Who gives us the best chance to win?”

The answer is Max Johnson.

Lord have mercy, LSU out up 41 and lost. Dude you are an idiot if you think we had QB issues in that game. Look at the last play LSU ran at the goal line. It was a shite show call, why did it come down to this play? Where was LSU's running game last season?

It’s worth noting that Myles was playing with a season ending injury at the time. Bad play calling that out Myles in a shitty position as well.

I see what most seem to see that Max is just a better playmaker, I just don’t think trying to tear Myles down is the right way to frame Max being the #1. LSU could have success with either. I hate to see a kid stick around and do everything he is asked to get passed up, but Max has a lot of promise and could easily see him getting the job.

Max certainly has the qualities that many LSU fans look for. TJ doesn't have those qualities.

The QB had a season ending injury in that game.

Brennan was lighting it up before he got hurt. He get his playing time this season. You people tend to forget everything except what you choose.

The offense will be fine no matter the starting QB. I just want to see a badass defense...... that will be the key element as to how our season goes.
