A completely arbitrary and stupid nickname
As a cajun/creole state, we ain’t eating near as many corn dogs as the bammers and 50/50(aka Mississippi) eat. We don’t smell like corn dogs and our mascot is a cat. Really tire of the cot dog talk. So lame
Just had to get that off my chest.

You know that started off between Iowa and Iowa State fans, and then some Auburn fan said that about us and it took off.

It started with big 8 fans calling Nebraska fans corn dogs. Auburn fan with a 12 iq thought it was cute and can be used on anyone.

But that's Literally the lamest thing I've ever heard and read the original post by some auburn guy . Already mentioned above it's stolen from Nebraska insult .:which makes some sense .
